Temporary Holds
I was going to place an order today to be delivered. I deleted the items.
My order was about $40.00 They put a temporary hold of $85.00 That is crazy. I read they put holds for items that are weighed, substitutions, I did not order items that needed to be weighed. I did not want susbstitutions. They also list bag fees.
Bag fees are ten cents each. I ordered weeks before and there was no bag fee. When I placed the order, it did not show a fee. I called customer service.
I was told there was a bag fee on that previous order. That must be illegal. They did not show a fee when I ordered. They charged me without telling me.
I tried to talk to a supervisor and she told me I needed to talk to customer service. She connects me to an agent. What good is a supervisor?
The agent just kept repeating the same thing over and over. I am done with Walmart.
Preferred solution: An explanation of why they were putting a temporary hold of over twice my order total. Why did they put one on. Why did they put one on another order without telling me. It showed my total and nothing else. The cust. service agent said there was a hold.
