Verified ReviewerWageworks is the worst for handling peoples benefits
- - Outsourcing benefits handling raises privacy concerns; staff use long scripts; avoid Wageworks for FSA/HSA/dependent care.
Wageworks is a company set up to hire people collecting social services to get them out of the taxpayers pockets. That idea is great but their "employees" do not belong anywhere near peoples personal information.
They have to follow scripts which are long winded and embellishing. Tell your benefits providers not to use this company with your private information to handle benefits such as FSA, HSA, and dependent care accounts. Tell your benefit providers to keep your secure information in house instead of outsourcing to this company.
I have had to deal with this company for 18 years and they are the worst at handling information. I have had issues where they were stating the faxes were not clear they sent them back they were fine.
Preferred solution: I would like my benefits provider to stop using this company.
User's recommendation: tell your employees and benefits providers to use this company.

Verified Reviewer |Resolved: Unable to use HRA
- - Plan to start Nov 30, but enrollment is not complete after many calls.
- - I cannot use the HRA card; eye surgery canceled; BBB complaint planned.
Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. Reactivation of enrollment
I am and have been participating in the wage works HRA program for several years.
My new plan was to kick in place on November 30. My staff followed up with staff at WageWorks with 26 phone calls and months of communication and I still do not have my plan and I had to cancel my eye surgery and I have over $500 in prescriptions but I cannot use my HRA card because they claim I am not enrolled and they will not complete my enrollment. We have been on the phone with no less than eight people and at least 3-4 calls each.
I am going to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and we are going to take our business elsewhere. This is an absolute sham that no one can initiate a recurring enrollment.
- Electronic system
- No one knows what they are doing
Preferred solution: To get my enrollment set up
User's recommendation: Don’t do it

Verified ReviewerLoss of coverage
- - Auto pay on the 1st; coverage ends on the 30th.
- - Month end cancellations; reinstatements take about a week; issues blamed on providers and Wage Works.
I am exasperated with this Wage Works. I have auto pay on the 1st of the month however on numerous occasions my coverage is terminated on the 30th.
WHY is this happening? You blame it on the providers, they blame it on you. No one can help, give me the correct answer. I am constantly being told its my responsibility to call back and forth to yall and each provider.
It takes a week to get benefits re-instated so I'm paying for something I Can't use!
.My husband has Cobra through another billing company and he has never had this happen. You require payment on the 1st ONLY, yet when the last day of the month comes, I'm cancelled because of Nonpayment.
I need to complete open enrollment for next year but am hesitant due to your inability to pay the other providers automatically. PLEASE CONTACT ME IMMEDIATELY!
User's recommendation: avoid this company

Verified ReviewerCharges
Charges were from 2018 resolved.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They don't follow their directions.
- - I have sent numerous letters to cancel and still receive a monthly bill.
- - I was told to send a written cancellation notice and have done so multiple times; I have called many times.
I have sent numerous letters from the minute they tried to set me up with this account to cancel and that I was not going to pay this. I am continuing to get a bill every month even after my numerous letters saying cancel. They told me I needed to send in a written notice to cancel in order for them to do it I have done that numerous times, I have called numerous times and it seems like no one can use their job.
User's recommendation: They only care about getting money!!
