Can't seem to get my lifelock account transferred to this phone

Can't get a straight answer from Customer Service
- - WWNorton eBook expires in 2 years.
- - Highlights and notes are buggy.
- - 10-day return; CSR won't answer about ebook.
- - Hardcopy costs 150% more.
WWNorton has a stranglehold on a commonly-used textbook. They sell it for a high fee as an e"book" that expires in two years, but professors want the links and soforth that they can use to manage classes efficiently.
The e"book" isn't working, they have told me there are currently software problems with highlights and notes, and even if it were working the software is very poor quality.
I don't want to use their e"book" after a few days use, I have a total of 10 days to return it, and I want to know if I can use a hardcopy instead.
They are more than fine with me shelling out 150% more to have the hardcopy as well but refuse to say whether I am FORCED to buy the ebook in order to get to the rest of the software.
I have been asking for the past 24 hours if I need to buy the ebook to get the links and soforth. CSR refuses to give me a straight answer
User's recommendation: Find another way. A book that you pay over $100 for, that will disappear in two years, and that doesn't even work properly much less well? Why would you do this to yourself?
