VULCAN REFUSED TO HONOR REPAIR BONDS
The termite bond/repair bond for my home was paid in 1983, and my home was inspected every year for 30 years. Vulcan was paid for 30 years, and never found a problem.
Another contractor did find a problem. A class action suit, after 6 years, reimbursed me for damage caused by termites, after Vulcan refused to honor the repair bond. By 2013, Vulcan had ignored for several years an extensive wood rotting fungus. The repair cost $8000.
Judge Amari said an inspection report was not a contract. After 30 years of payments, Vulcan cancelled my termite bond.
