In resolution, the complex manager Sandie was very nice, respectful and responsive. I received a 75% refund, and though I still paid out on something I wasn't responsible for breaking, I appreciate and am grateful for the compromise.
Overall, I'm satisfied with how this latest issue was resolved. However, this management company needs to accept that the hundreds of residents here have been used to a certain standard and quality of living; it's what we pay highly for and why we chose this place to call home. It's not a business to us.
Rather than raising prices, forcing good people out, and lowering quality, the goal should be to retain residents who care and contribute positively to their community. I really hope in the next 6 months, they can turn it around so Vue becomes a place I'd like to continue residing.

This was the most amazing complex when I moved in a year and a half ago, beautifully up kept, clean and quiet, lovely people. The new property management company (Tipton Group) has cut costs to the detriment of the residents, trash everywhere and bins constantly overflowing into the parking lot since they changed trash companies and eliminated one of the onsite trash bins, dog *** everywhere, a maintenance team who cares very little for retaining standards, an office team that rotates every 3 weeks or so and couldn't care less about the problems, terrible issues with re-signing my lease and jacking up fees and rent on most people I've talked to here, 5 months to fix a gate issue. And now, they are charging me $250 for a broken window replacement when 1. I didn't break it and now that the window is gone I can't prove it and 2. They ABSOLUTELY did not advise me beforehand that I'd have to pay out of pocket (despite anything mgt says in reply to this post--I actually asked Dave, the maintenance guy straight out and he said "no they shouldn't charge you", nor did the girl I spoke with 3+ times say anything while scheduling the repair) and 3. They deceptively added the charge to my rent (without description) so there's no way I could contest it prior to paying bc I'd be charged a late fee for not paying the full "rent" amount shown on my account. I'll go out of my way to avoid this company in future and share this experience. Sad that a management company can ruin what was such a great property and living experience. PS, whatever *** graphic designer said the new logo would compliment the property, it's disgusting to see everyday
