Voyage Prive - Complaint I satisfaction conclusion

On booking a holiday to Tunisia 17/8/2024-22/8/2024and paying a deposit of 320 sterling I was shocked on receiving my confirmation that the dated they booked where for September not August. This was their mistake as I was attending a wedding in Tunisia.

On contacting them I received no satisfactory response instead put on an automated answering machine. Leaving me no option but to cancel my booking .

They kept my deposit and had the nerve to send me an e mail requesting the balance. I am now at 79 out of pocket due to the incompetence of this company and have to book another flight and hotel.

Shockingly poor customer service

The hotel we are currently staying in has been completely misrepresented on the website. We contacted customer services as soon as we arrived- the reply was we will try to get back to you within 72 hours.

Bearing in mind this is a short break - that was not acceptable. We were invited to use their WhatsApp messaging service - which we did, but we are still waiting for a reply to that.

We contacted Customer services 9am UK time the second day of our holiday and we are now on day 3 and we are STILL waiting for action.

We did receive a phone call from a third party asking us questions about our hotel - but again- we paid our money direct to Voyage Prive - they should be making the calls and solving the problems.

We were told that an email would be sent (at 9am yesterday) so we could upload our images of the hotel, but we are still waiting for that too.

We have previously had 8 holidays with VP, so I dont even feel like a valued customer. We are spending our days waiting for calls, looking for emails, sending messages. Its not a holiday.

We paid a lot of money for this, took time off work and it has been frustrating, disappointing and upsetting.

I am not going to upload the name of the hotel - it is not their fault, it is VPs for selling something better than what it is on their site.

Example from photo - this is advertised as a recently renovated 4 star hotel with an open gym and multifunctional court. Make your own mind up.

Withdraw money

I am in voyage prove affiliate program and I gave in all my savings I had and now I have no more money left on me. I have completed 38 journeys and stuck on 39 cuz they brought up an usual increase in price.

They are asking for $126000 and I dont have such kind of money I have already invested about $50k and I that was my lifetime savings.

Even if I work for next five years I will not be able to get $80k please I dont want any commission I just want all my invested money back. Please help me from this I am becoming mentally sick since I dont have access to such money and due to that reason I will lose my $50k.

Please show some mercy and help me get out of this.

Hi, Voyage prive does not offer any affiliate program, the website you're showing in your screenshots is a fake one and not Voyageprive's one. You probably sent money to an organised fraud.

No customer support at weekends - several weeks of emails and telephone calls

We could not check in for our flights with Emirates

VP customer services are not avail at weekends

VP chat bot did not recognise our booking

Emirates did not have our booking

2nd issue:

VP sold 5* luxury holiday "jewel of India tour with 5* Oberoi hotels" and the image of the hotel used to sell the holiday is the Amarvilas.

Although we were confirmed in each Oberoi hotel at the time of payment and booking and I also pre-checked the Oberoi online booking system prior to payment to ensure all was good. We have been informed this week that the Amarvilas is now fully booked and we are staying in a different hotel.

Oberoi Hotel Group are also to blame here

Confusion and anxiety

Confusion re the reason why the hotel had no booking details of our reservation. After quite a few direct calls to customer service from myself and daughter over a few days- only one adviser could explain.

We were still very uncertain and concerned with the explanation given until the day before our travel, when the hotel sent an email to my daughter confirming the reservation etc.

All the upset would have been avoided if a proper explanation as to why our reservation reference was not registered with the hotel. In short the experience marred our anticipated holiday somewhat- (wrecked with anxiety)

no one available to speak to over weekend regarding booked holiday. I bet if I was trying to book somebody would have been available.
