Vonage has been giving me the runaround when I have been attempting to cancel the service since October 2016 and still running up a bill. I tried to cancel when the promotional period ended because it isn't worth the amount that it increased. Every time I call, I sit for long periods of time and no one ever picks up. Using coffee shop WIFI, I found VONAGE's home phone plan, paid $19.00 for their modem, which I couldn't use (their ad then did not specify the need for line access). I was late paying my bill online like I usually do so they decide to tape into my home line to call my cell phone number. I panicked because my child was at home and she never uses the house phone. I called her to see if she had just called me and she says no. I panic a little more because now I'm thinking someone is in the house. It took me a minute to realize that was what they did.
