Vonage - I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY'RE STILL IN BUSINESS

They are not upfront about their service. I had a month trying to get their system working in our offices with my time mostly spent on phone and chat with them while physically doing the work myself. In the end their service was not compatible with ours and they wouldn't let us have our number back. This was a crazy ordeal that put us more than a month without service and we lost our phone number of 50+ years. They are still trying to get us to pay for services we never received.

Vonage - Incompetence abounds

I called Vonage Business Service concerning my voicemail that had never recorded messages from callers. The technician disconnected my phones. I called back and the next technician had to access my computer to address the no service issue. I have been told I will receive a call back each time, but I have had to call Vonage each day. Now, nine days later, neither my computers nor phones work and Vonage refuses to send replacement phones. I have spoken to 6 different service technicians and all have taken me through the same procedures with no results. I regret ever dealing with Vonage. Please do not make the same mistake.

Vonage - My worst business decision ever

Cheap phone delivered, charged $99 install for phones that never got installed, had me pay to buy a router I was never told I needed, spent countless hours on the phone troubleshooting, i.e. with me attempting to do the install, absolutely rude customer service rep named Will (he refused to give me his last name), was told his superior would call me back and never has. I was told by Will "you're going to pay the bill anyway". For three months, I had no service, never made or received one phone call, had no in-the-field technician to correct the situation. So I am out $100 for phone, $99.00 for install, and $57 per month X 3 months for NO SERVICE and RUDE SERVICE. I will NEVER allow any of my family and friends to even consider Vonage. Something needs to be done about this company!

Vonage - NEVER SIGN UP with these Unethical Charlatans

Our medical practice signed up with Vonage because a rep gave verbal confirmation that the new system could be installed before the old one stopped but when the details were finalized, they could not make it until 8 days after previous phone disconnection. Emergency patients could not contact us for 1.5 business days which could have been a disaster. When we tried to cancel the contract (well within 72 hours) they still sent us the six phones we ordered at a "discounted rate" of $600+ and refused to refund despite the fact that we never started our contract or used any of their services. They did not disclose that all equipment is final sale regardless of if you actually use their service or not. They intentionally do not disclose this policy and give you the runaround if you try to contact customer service! They transferred me four times and the actual manager who could do something about it told me to take it up with billing when he knew very well they can't do anything. So they wasted my precious time and effort while I tried to reason with these crooks who say they don't have any storage facility to return the equipment to, so can't offer any refund. I will be reporting them to the better business bureau for unethical business practices, disputing the charge with my credit card company, and hiring a lawyer to look into mandatory business regulations that they're violating in the state of California.
