Vonage (still charging me with no service )
I get the product plug every thing in (it Does not run threw my phone line nothing but bussing ) called these people do not no a *** thing !! Did every thing they said called back - tryed to get an American speeking person not going to happen this person got me so pissed off I wonted to choke her threw the phone told her to cancle the hole thing !!! These people are the dumest they have not sent me any paper work and are still billing me they REFUSED TO STOP TAKE MONEY OUT OF MY ACCOUT !!!!! I WANT MY GDM BACK !!!! THEY REFUSED ALL MY CALLS NOW AND THEY REFUSED TO GIVE ME BACK MONEY FOR NO SERVICE STILL HAVE NO SERVICE !!!!!!

Used Vonage for 8 years, STILL HAPPY!
Sometimes, you have to consider the source on complaints. We have used Vonage for voice for about 8 years and FAX for about 3 years and have NO TROUBLE! If it is connected properly, it works. I don't have to mess with it, ever. Yes, if the internet connection goes down, it goes down but so do every other VOiP service you will use. That's the way it works. No difference between services if the underlying service goes away. We prepay for the entire year and get a better rate. Seems like 2 months free. I really hate it when people are not as smart as the device they are using and come on here and complain. You hook it up, it works. What else is there. Call quality is good all the time. The hardware is reliable. I connect two of the interface boxes on the Comcast Gateway box and the one for fax service is on the end of 3 100Mb switches and, still, no problems with incoming and outgoing faxes. Never has been. Worked first time, continues to work after a couple of years. I have seen other services and am currently looking around for any improvements but I have found nothing, yet, to make me switch. Mike
Vonage in Rochester, New York - DONT USE VONATGE---ALL LIES
I used vontage for less than a week and they charged me like ***. The guy told me unlimited international-false claim. I got charged $85 for calling international, and they told me about the charges after a week. Just canceled and also canceled my debit card because they keep taking money out and its frustrating, their people dont know how to handle customers, basically go to your bank and tell them to not let Vonage take anything from you. Not even that, dont even think about think about signing up with them, its all lies. Poor judgment on my part.
I got Vonage service so my kids could have a phone at the house. I don't use it in favor my cell phone. The kids moved out months ago and I noticed the charge on my bank account and decided I no longer needed the service. I cancelled service with Vonage on Nov...View full review

I thank this site and the wonderful consumers that have written in about vonage. I was going to switch my service to Vonage,BUT NOT NOW. Thank all of you for your helpful input. I am so sorry all of you had to learn the hard way, but you can feel assured you have helped this person that is stuggling to make ends meet in this day of the greedy companies. That is what makes this country so great; we all stick together to help each-other. All of you have contributed to saving me more grief and agravation and loss of money. I thank all of you patriots. Vonage Review, are they getting worse?
Even to this day Vonage still no customer service. Vonage's severe lack of communication is nothing less than disappointing. You as a consumer really get the feeling that they don't care anything about their customers. One problem after another and nothing ever gets fixed. Their customer service reps can't understand English if you ever do get through to them, and they won't answer your questions directly as I think they don't know the answers. they also advertise that they cover a lot of areas which they do not cover! for example; they say they cover Mexico, but they don't cover most of it. Okay,here is the best part about Vonage, when you call disappointed upset and angry, if you can actually get through on the phone after being put on hold multiple times. They now have what's called the "complaints plan" I kid you not. They will try lowering your monthly bill to 50% for the following month if you don't cancel. If you insist on canceling they will give you the next month for free. Really a "complaints plan" how bout just fixing the problem Vonage? What else can I say? I'm another severely disappointed Vonage consumer.
Vonage phone service
I thought I'd called Vonage after seeing their ads on tv & thought I'd try to reduce my phone bill. I called for the information and was disconnected by the customer service rep THREE times. Every time I called back the rep apologized but then again... I got disconnected. This alone told me to forget about trying Vonage since they can't technically even stay on the line even when it comes to adding a new customer. Also, after reading all the reviews I'm glad I made the decision not to sign up with them. As the old saying goes "You get what you pay for."
I paid Vonage and did not recived the service
vonage international unlimited very bad. I had a contract for a year with them, they did not fullfilled the contract (lots of calls did not go out) so I wanted part of my money back because I was just able to do 50% of the calls, so they did NOT return the money and I COULD NOT MAKE THE CALLS I was suppouse to do. They took my money and I did not received the service. they promiseD a service that they were not able to provide. their answer was that "IT WAS NOT THEIR PROBLEM" so I pay for something they were sopouse to give me and I dont recieve the service, they said it was 1 carriers they had and that's why IT WAS NOT THIER PROBLEM. they offered the service, recieved the money and later is NOT THIER PROBLEM, very funny answer.
