If I could give this business negative stars, trust me I would have done that already. I can write an essay on why I would never want to refer anyone to do business with them. 1. I had made an appointment online to drop off my car for a routine oil change at 11:45am. Bob said, “ you know the guys are going to lunch at 12 right?” I said of course I knew that. I didn’t expect them to do right away, that’s the whole point of a DROP OFF. He even took my number down and said he would call when my car is finished. So we left my car there. A few hours passed and I had lost track of time. It was already 7:40PM. No one from Volkswagen of STOCKTON had called me to let me know if there were complications with my oil change or if it was finished. So I tried calling the establishment and after 10 minutes I finally get a hold of someone in sales because of course THE SERVICE DEPT WAS CLOSED SINCE 6PM. I spoke to this gentleman who told me that they are gone for the day. He said he would call his supervisor and tell him about the situation and then we would call me back in a few minutes . NEVER GOT A RETURN CALL. I tried calling back around 8:30PM, but to my luck they all probably left for the day. So now I don’t know if my car is finished. My car is somewhere on their lot. Probably unlocked and windows rolled down and they probably joy rode in my car, who knows? I don’t have my car here at home, it’s still on their lot. I have work tomorrow, how am I suppose to get to work? They sure don’t have a shuttle that can pick me up. The finance manager CAROL even told me that they had a vehicle stolen right off of their property and it was crashed and had it in the back of their lot. This was not the first or SECOND TIME they did this. This was the THIRD. They have screwed us so many times. If the “ lifetime “ oil change that I PAY FOR EVERY MONTH wasn’t “free” ( LMAO ) I would not have gone a second time. 2. When we bought ANOTHER car from VOLKSWAGEN OF STOCKTON ( shame on me ) we wanted the “ lifetime “ oil change included. CAROL the finance manager said it IS INCLUDED. Sure enough when we tried to get our first oil change IT WAS NOT LISTED IN THERE THAT IT WAS. On top of that we had to come back to Volkswagen more than 6 times because THEY COULDN’T GET THEIR *** TOGETHER. On top of that they ran our credit to more than 10 DIFFERENT PLACES. They has to revise the stupid contract multiple times. So that was irritating to handle. 3. The receptionist are rude. They have no manners and the way the look at people when you come in makes you feel like you’ve just walked into a hostile environment and there are land mines everywhere. 4. Not only did we purchase 2 cars from them we even referred people to give them business because ( My mistake ) we thought they were decent people who actually wanted to genuinely help you. 5. I am over the top pissed because I have given this place the benefit of the doubt. They seem like they are willing to help but in actuality they aren’t. They just pass you off to someone else, which is exactly what they did to me when I tried calling the first time I had an issue with them about 1 year ago. The receptionist who were answering the phones kept putting me on hold then hanging up on me then would put me on hold for 10 minutes at a time then when I called back they would giggle and transfer me to the sales department. 6. I despise people who aren’t honest and have no respect for others. If you don’t like your job I advise you to find another. This is just my opinion this place and my experiences. I hope no one else had to go through this. I am going to make sure that VOLKSWAGEN HEADQUARTERS or their corporate office hears about my complaint . This is just not fair. Why would they intentionally not call me? I will even print out my call log and show them that not ONCE has BOB FROM SERVICE tried calling me. So now I’m the one suffering because I have NO VEHICLE for transportation to go to the store to buy my child medicine because she’s sick. I have no way of getting to work tomorrow because everyone here works in the morning . I have no way of picking up my car. That place has no SHUTTLE SERVICE. What do they want me to do? Grab an Uber just to go there? They want me to use an Uber with my 5 year old with no car seat because my only car seat is in my car THATS STILL AT VOLKSWAGEN OF STOCKTON ? they are really insensitive people with no empathy towards others. Something needs to be done about this and it should have had happen the FIRST TIME THIS PLACE MESSED UP!
