- - Control 4 system installed in 2015 has compatibility issues.
- - Old equipment installed, upgrades billed, truck-roll fees, and customer service is poor.
We had a Control 4 System installed in connection with a new home in 2015 and it has been a nightmare ever since. We have had other companies come out to investigate what was installed and we were told that we have equipment that is not compatible with some of the other equipment, that old equipment was installed (apparently so they could get it off their shelf) instead of the newest equipment and every chance they get Vitex charges for an upgrade or some other tweak that is necessary.
We thought we were having a "Smart House" installed and the problems have been endless. We were stupid. Their follow-up and customer service is very poor and when they fail to get the job done right the first time, they bill the customer for a "truck roll fee" to return, and start the clock all over again. Attention to detail and customer service is absolutely horrible.
Keep looking for a good A/V company that stands behind its work. Don't waste your time or your money with Vitex.
- Horrible customer service and questionable results
