Verified ReviewerMy TV screen is bleeding out after 4 months. The most.Aggravating thing is I can't find a way to talk to a person.
I live alone. I'm always gone is fun from the house.
Then about a month ago I got home.Turn the t v on and the screen is bleeding out.
Walmart tells me that vizio TV's.Have a one year manufacturing warranty and I want that justified. I've always liked busy OT, vs.But this one has failed me and I want it to be resolved please.

On March 28, 2025... Visio and Project access was denied.
This was obviously 'scheduled' as my laptop and my desktop computers 'locked up' access at the same moment and for all four installs. WHY?!
My Supervisor with Winslow Indian Health Care Clinic (WIHCC) approached me with the original software and packaging for Visio Standard 2003 & Project Standard 2003 with the comment... "Administration bought several of these for the staff but nobody seems to want them... do you want them?"
I accepted and took possession of these two applications.
That was in 2004... twenty-one years ago.
Painfully... I find out Microsoft has canceled support for both applications in 2014. Imagine my surprise when I found out I had to 'activate' the license on both applications after twenty-one years and eleven years of sans support.
Now I may be able to save .VSD files to PDF format and only access Visio diagrams and drawings through media...
but I will not be able to modify them.
This is absolutely unique ONLY to MS... no other software seller does this 'activate' nonsense. I have Norton Ghost... used on several different computers over two decades...
I don't have to activate that software... and it is software developed in cooperation with MS. I guess MS wants their customers to drop Microsoft products and more to Linux...
so many options there.
I just want access to MY software that was given to me by my boss. It has not been copied nor shared with anyone else.

Preferred solution: The applications... Visio Standard 2003 & Project Standard 2003... unlocked... activated. Microsoft is responsible for this activate license on twenty-two year old software... unsupported software for the last eleven years.

Visio is the bottom of the barrel when it comes to televisions. The Watchfree is a nightmare.

It was a nightmare Ill be looking for a different tv soon I know someone else with a vision and it does the same thing as mine. So the TV is the problem

I bought a Visio sound bar because I could not find a suitable LG sound bar to match my TV.
I wanted to hear VOICE from my sound bar and I positioned back speakers near my kitchen so I could hear VOICE while working in the kitchen. All I could get was music thru the back speakers.
Being frustrated I called Visio customer support and explained my situation to the 1st line support. She was not able to help me and gave me to more technical support. He explained to me surround sound is not really made for voice - it is for loud noises with music or airplanes or car crashes, etc. I don't watch much of that - but I was happy to know it just wasn't possible rather than I wasn't configuring correctly.
He didn't know much about LG Tv's so he didn't try to configure the TV but we did do a sound test and the speakers were all working correctly. I ended up solving my problem by using blue tooth to connect the TV to my Alexa Google Device in the kitchen and now I can hear VOICE.
The technician was friendly and helpful.
Visio cannot download
I am still unable to speak with a real Microsoft Vizio tech support agent. This is getting to be very frustrating to me.
Not connected to Netflix’s
Answer the phone.
My TV is not able to connect to Netflixs.
Last night it worked tonight is doesnt. No change of cables or connections.

Visio refuses to renew and support Netflix and Amazon Prime. We talked to all involved but to no avail.
We purchased a small Roku device that worked through a hdmi input. Visio did not advise anyone in advance but they did say they were not going to negotiate further.
Guess they don't want happy customers. Don't buy Visio, they don't care about customer satisfaction.
Visio stopped supporting Amazon video app. Amazon said that Visio was not attempting to negotiate new terms.

Representative had a good attitude. Also was friendly and tried to resolve the issue.
She was unable to do so. Amazon representative advised us that Visio was in contract negotiations to decide to continue to support the Amazon app.
I have two Vizio tv's. Will not buy another because of this chain of events.

Yes this was not a complaint this was a informational inquirer I have been very satisfied with my unit I needed to know if the existing 5.1 visio I have would the subwoofer from that unit be comparable with the 3.1 visio I got at a goodwill for $7.00 and the remote work on the 3.1 also the remote yes subwoofer no from what the very helpful person told me but there's a way just open the 3.1 solder wires to the speakers and hook up to woofer and other speakers and it works old school technology thanks this is not a complaint

Owned 2 they both have issues
Bought a 2019 Vizio quantom X P-Series
Since the first day out the box the menus are super slow laggy, also 75% time the backlight wont turn off with tv and is left on all night cause I dont notice it till its dark, I will say they have a really good picture in my opinion, that one broke someone locked it over or something, so hoping maybe that one was just weird I bought a second one, same damn problems

Not good. Vizio ignores emails to corporate headquarters.
I have emailed Vizio corporate 2 times in the past 2 weeks and included a link to my review with no answer. Their failure to respond just shows how much they hold they hold their customers in contempt. I would say that they have a poor business model but in truth they apparently no business model other than to take the money run.
It was good for 6 months. Then the screen went out and I lost audio. Then the horror story of Visio's poor support communications began. The TV was still within years warranty, so I went to the Visio website to get information what the problem might be.
I supplied the serial and model numbers and photos of the issue as requested. A week went by with no response from Visio support,I called the support line. The service person I spoke to never mentioned receipt of the requested information, never explained what the possible problem might be. Without my knowledge, the rep scheduled a delivery replacement TV and setup service which I was never made aware of.
Being that I figured that Visio was not going to address the issue due to their non-response for an explanation, I went and purchased a new TV and put the old one in the dumpster. Yesterday I received an email from Visio about an impending delivery which had an odd tracking number. So this AM I called Visio about what they were shipping to me. That's when I became aware that they were sending a replacement and providing a setup service.
Had Visio responded in a timely manner and said that a replacement and setup would be provided, I would be $400 better.
The rep I spoke to this AM said there was nothing she could do seeing that I had already disposed of the old TV. This would have NOT been done had Visio responded to my initial request about what the problem might have been.
