Because of a dispute with bbt when they had a LEAGEJ POA ON FILE FOR ME TO CASH WORKMANS COMP CK IN MY WIFES NAZME AFTER ^ MONTHS OF CASHING THIS A NEW EMPLOYEE SAID SHE HAD TO BE WITH ME WHENEVER I CASH ANYTHING IN HER NAME.... SHE HAD A STROKE IN @)!! AN BRAIN INJURY (MAJOR )WHICH LEFT HER WITH NO SPEECH AN CONFINED TO A BED AN WHEELCHAIR .. 3 TIMES I TOOK HER THERE AFTER GETING HER UP DRESSED IN WHEELCHAIR PUT HER IN CAR JUST SO THEY COULD SEE HER FACE IN THE CAR ...AT NO TIME DID THEY EVER COME OUTSIDE TO SEE OR SPEAK TO HER ... ON A WINTER DAY WHEN IT WAS COLD DAMP I REFUSED TO DO THAT AGAIN AN AS USAUL THEY ASK IF SHE WAS IN CAR I FINALLY ADMITTED NO AN IT WAS SO STUPID TO HAVE TO DRAG HER DOWN THERE EVERY WEEK JUST SO THEY COULD GO TO A DOOR AN LOOK OUT TO SEE SOMEONE WAS IN THAT CAR IT WAS A LOUD COMMENT AN I LDFT 1 WEEK LATER I GOT A LETTER THAT BARRED ME FROM ALL BBT PROPERTY> NOW THEY REFUSE TO CASH FARM Bureau s CK SO I CAN PURCHASE ANOTHER TRUCK . MY BANK USAA AN SUNTRUST WONTS A & DAY HOLD I HAVE FOUND A TRUCK TO BUY HOWEVER HES ONLY WILLING TO WAIT TILL TUESDAY MARCH 16 SALE IS OFF AN I LOSE 500.00 DEPOSIT CAN YOU PLEASE ASSIT ME IN ANYWAY WITH THIS MATTER JAY C> LAW POLICY HOLDER?????? 540352 ****

NUMEROUS TIMES WE CALL INTO THE OFFICE ON BUSINESS TO GIVE THE COMPANY NEW CLIENTS FROM OUR CAR LOT OF CUSTOMERS PURCHASING VEHICLES. ANGELA HARRIS HAS SEVERAL TIMES NOT ANSWERED THE PHONE WHEN OUR OFFICE CALLS OR IF WE CALL BY CELL PHONE AND PASSES CALLS TO VOICE MAIL OR TRYS TO HAVE SOMEONE ELSE ANSWER SO SHE DOES NOT HAVE TO HANDLE THE CALL. WHATEVER IS GOING ON IN HER PERSONAL LIFE DOES NOT OR SHOULD NOT EFFECT BUSINESS. THIS IS RIDICULOUS AND QUITE CHILDISH ON HER PART. WE SEND A LOT OF BUSINESS INTO THIS OFFICE MONTHLY AND HAVE A SUPER GREAT RELATIONSHIP WITH THE AGENT PHILLIP HEIN WHO IS AWESOME AND IN NO WAY DOES THIS MATTER HAVE ANY REFLECTION ON HIM. HOWEVER IT DOES EFFECT HIS BUSINESS AS AN AGENT TO HAVE SOMEONE THAT DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THE COMPANY OR ITS MEMBERS. SEVERAL CUSTOMERS THAT WE HAVE SENT HAS PULLED INSURANCE AND HAS GONE ELSEWHERE DUE TO HER BEHAVIOR IN THE OFFICE AND OUTSIDE. SHE IS A RUDE INDIVIDUAL AND SHOULD NOT HANDLE CUSTOMERS. WE ACTUALLY SENT MR HEIN A CUSTOMER TODAY WITH NUMEROUS COMPANY AND PERSONAL VEHICLES AND PROPERTY. ALSO, A VEHICLE WE SOLD WE HAD SENT CUSTOMER THERE FOR A QUOTE. WHILE CUSTOMER WAS HERE AGAIN ANGELA HARRIS DID NOT ANSWER AND LET PHONE GO RINGING CONSTANTLY AND WE KNOW SHE WAS NOT ASSISTING OTHERS ON THE PHONE OR IN THE OFFICE BECAUSE WE CALLED WE WERE ACROSS THE STREET AND KNOW FOR A FACT NO ONE WAS IN THE OFFICE. THIS IS A CONSTANT ISSUE. WE HOPE THAT YOU WILL REVIEW THIS MATTER AND RESOLVE IT QUICKLY WE ARE THINKING OF FORWARDING BUSINESS TO OTHER AGENTS RATHER THAN FARM BUREAU IF THIS CONTINUES. MAYBE MR HEIN IS NOT THE RIGHT AGENT FOR HER TO BE UNDER. JUST A THOUGHT. Dropped because of not having auto insurance with them.

Be careful when deciding to purchase Virginia Farm Bureau homeowners insurance. I had homeowners and a rental house insurance for many years with Virginia Farm Bureau and I was cancelled by them on both houses because I did not have an associated auto policy with them. This might sound like not a big deal but at the time I was renovating the rental unit and it was hard to purchase other insurance while the rental was being renovated. That is unless you were willing to pay 400% more than what you were already paying for an unoccupied residence. On top of that I was still receiving a request to pay their $40 membership fee. Yea Right!! The Virginia State Corporation Commission sides with Virginia Farm Bureau so don't think your protected by them.

Farm Bureau of Virginia has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They said my policies not active because the $40 annual membership dues payment fell through the cracks on my end.

They kept pulling payments out of bank account. They said if I pay my membership dues then policies will be active again. If I would have had a claim they would have denied it. No letter was ever sent.

When I called, I rode the chain of command.

Everyone treated me like I was *** and not worth their time.

They dropped my home policy because I don't have auto w/them

Of all my years of having a policy w/them and paying that rediculous 40 dollar a year "membership" fee,I went with another ins co and saved 400 dollars a year. Then they sent me a letter stating that they are not renewing my home insurance because I don't insure my autos with them. Now I have to shop around and get another ins co to come out and take pictures. Listen farm bureau, I will never do business with you ever again and I will make it a point to tell any sucker out there I know who has you for their ins,what you did to me and how much money they will save by dropping you and your silly "membership" dues.

They did the same thing to me. I don't know if it meets the legal definition of extortion but it's the moral equivalent.

I don't see why they need to cancel peoples policies.

Raise the price on the homeowners if you need to and offer discounts for bundling. Don't just cancel their policies because your prices are wrong.
