Hello,

My family booked a cruise on the Resilient Lady starting on 10/11/24. We have two reservations:

On the day reservations for shore excursions opened, we attempted to book a tender from two ports: Mykonos and Santorini, for three family members between 9-10 AM through the website and app.

After several unsuccessful attempts, we discovered that there were no available spots in the morning, only starting from 11:30 AM and 12:00 PM.

We contacted customer service by phone, who confirmed that only late times were available, which are not suitable for us, and our family members' departure times were split.

We also found out that we needed to book a tender immediately after the booking option opened to get the desired departure times.

It is unacceptable that a customer who booked a cruise with a premium company should have to organize a family standby team with a stopwatch to secure a tender departure time.

The booking process and the situation that arose caused us a negative experience and extreme discomfort. We are disappointed with the company's service arrangements and even doubt that the cruise experience will be positive.

It should be noted that the family has extensive experience with cruises with various cruise companies.

We request that you address the issue as soon as possible.

BWas told in Virgin info if you cannot get in restaurantsthey always leave space for walk inswe were just toldAll booked NO walk ins.

Pools freezing. Workers all have a BAD attitude!

Was not told Razzle Dazzle was vegetarianwas terrible for brunchcold food & terrible service.

As a 30 year cruiserIll take the kids in lieu of the tacky service & attitude

Its apparent they are cutting costs..

Still no answer to problem..,7 days later!! Price of cruise doubled..because of upgrade. I now have 3 case numbers ..none actioned.

I booked a cruise for my 70th birthday..then bid on an upgrade..I misunderstood the bid and thought a was bidding on the cabin not on top of my original cost . Now I'm paying $3000 instead of $1500 roughly.

I'm trying to get a refund

No luck yet .no customer service..you can't reply to any emails you get.

Hi we are booked to travel November 23 from Dubai to Singapore.

So I purchased onshore bookings for Mumbai, for ONE PERSON, well the first time i booked said booked for 2, so cancelled re booked , that was 26/7/23, today still showing me booked for 2 so cancelled again, re booked same thing charged again for 2 so in total paid for 5??? 5 x $202.61= $1013.05.

Please refund ASAP. REALLY ANNOYED.

User's recommendation: Be wary when putting your credit card and booking shore excursions, advised no refund until after the cruise, like $1000+

I am writing to you to voice my concerns regarding an experience on Valiant Lady during our cruise of the med commencing Sunday 18th September for 7 days.

Our overall experience was good. Lovely cabin , friendly staff and the ships amenities were good .

However within 24 hours aboard I fell ill with chronic diahorea.

Firstly I went to the medical centre to get some imodium but they insisted on a thorough consultation. I was quarantined for 2 days in my cabin and told to order specific food and fluids. I was unwell for at least 4 days. I was advised to be isolated to protect other passengers which i accepted in writing but not against my will .

I was put on a drip twice for dehydration. I had 2 lots of blood tests and felt weak and vulnerable.

The medical centre was fantastic and very helpful.

I had a real concern getting food ordered which was a problem to start with as my order never arrived and I was waiting so long for water to be delivered, my wife's trips out for food were so long winded it just felt like utter chaos in the dining areas with ordering food online and not turning up . For my wife trying to get food to bring back to the cabin was very difficult as the staff didn't understand about the isolation.

My wife continued with her excursions and mine were refunded but I felt like I missed out on a lot of the entertainment as I was so weak and tired from 2 hour bouts of diarrhea and was afraid I would have an accident.

Upon returning home on Sunday 25th September I had a GP appointment on Monday and was diagnosed with campylobactor which the doctor said would have come from infected food or animals and as I don't have any animals and there were none aboard my only guess was from the food .

On the first day I had chicken and seafood kebabs early afternoon which took over an hour to arrive.

I am now on antibiotics and still taking imodium for diarrhea as the bacteria is still present and I'm still not 100%.

I was not looking for any compensation and the £300 goodwill credit towards another cruise is quite frankly an insult and I will not be taking up that offer .

I just wanted you to be aware of how disappointed I was as we had waited over 2 years for this cruise with lockdown cancellations and we waited instead of getting a refund.

Its unfortunate that I picked up the bacteria and the medical center did not find it in my blood tests during my cruise with you. I never want to experience another episode like this and I've never ever had an experience like it in all the travelling that I do during the year .

I hope after a lot of problems that in the future your cruises will run more smoothly than this one without misinformation and a chaotic dining experience.

I have so many questions

I have so many questions, I called the phone number that is on the app on the websites on social media I was on hold yesterday for two hours and the person that answers the phone hast to type in every question and read everything to me never been on the boat doesn’t know how to answer the questions I’m back to square one.
