Buy something if you want this to happen.....

Man, where do I start? I purchased 3 game systems from Andrew during 2003-**** and the game systems were amazing and the service/responsiveness from Andrew was amazing.

When my last game system failed in 2017, of course I reached out to Andrew to purchase another.

And it was the COMPLETE opposite experience this time around. He was very unresponsive to all forms of communication (phone calls, texts, and emails) and it took about 8 months for me to finally receive the game system from him. When it finally arrived, now came the task of getting it set up and actually using it. Andrew said he wasn't familiar with the set up side so he put me in touch with a guy named James who was flat out HORRIBLE.

He spoke to me like I was a fellow computer expert like him and got very frustrated with me when I couldn't keep up or understand what he wanted me to do, all over the phone. But I needed James (and Andrew) so I bit my tongue and dealt with his terrible customer service and frustrations with me.

The game finally got set up after almost a month of trying to do so with Andrew/James and for the first few months, it worked great. However, then my favorite game got a "glitch" that wouldn't go away rendering it unplayable. Andrew said it was probably a faulty mother board and then began months of empty promises, minimal to zero responses to communications, and ultimately no new mother board or fix to the game.

So, I just continued to play other games until recently, now all the table top controls don't work at all, just like that it stopped working. Of course now I'm 2 years removed from purchase and Andrew hasn't responded at all to my efforts to reach him.

SOOOO, if you are considering buying anything from Vintage Amusements, DON'T. If you are considering doing any level of business with Vintage Amusements, DON'T. I seriously don't know what happened to this guy, from 2003-**** he was great, no complaints at all.

But something changed drastically because he wasn't the same business person in 2017.

I frankly don't know how he sleeps at night knowing how many people he has wronged out there. So, if you decided to do any level of business with Andrew and this company, who have been PROPERLY FORWARNED.

Slots from Andrew Vintage Amusement

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

My experience with Andrew was great! I think the complaints on here have to be bogus.

I bought a couple of slot machines from him from an ad he had on Craigslist. Unfortunately they were damaged while in transit with the freight company. This was not Andrew's fault nor his responsibility, the machines were very well packed. But he worked with me to get a claim filed through the carrier which turned out to be very time-consuming.

And what the carrier didn't cover he ended up getting me the parts needed for free.

He is a stand-up guy no question about it. Don't hesitate to do business with him, just ignore the trolls and haters.

Vintage Amusement Company - Classic Multicade Arcade Game Pinball Review from Bar Harbor, Maine

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

We bought a vintage mechanical pinball machine and a custom video game that plays a bunch of classic arcade titles from the eighties. Did everything by phone text and email.

They cannot take delivery right away because of work being done inside our home.

That ended up taking a couple months longer than planned, Vintage Amusement just stored our items for us no charge. Once we were ready it took a couple weeks but they delivered the games are awesome everybody loves them.

Great Deal on Arcade Game from Vintage Amusement in Maine

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I've been hunting around New England for one of those classic multigame machines that have become popular. There were some specific games that I wanted it to have and I could not spend more than $1,000.

Galaga, Donkey Kong, Centipede, Pac-Man and Time Pilot were my favorites form the 80s. Everyone wanted like $2,000 for one of these games. I found Andrew from an ad on Craiglist, he said he could make one for $1,000 with a tracball and I could pick the arcade cabinet to use. I ended up getting one with a custom marquee in a sweet old school cabinet.

I picked it up from his shop, he showed me how it works, etc...

game looked and played great. He was easy to deal with and I would certainly do so again.

Vintage Amusement Company - Andrew Culpovich great job!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I purchased a Ms. Pac-Man and Donkey Kong arcade games.

They were my first games so I was nervous about process. Especially since I needed them shipped from Maine to Texas. I read a bad review on here when I first found his games online. But he also had good reviews and perfect feedback on Ebay.

So I called to try and make my own evaluation. Andrew answered all my questions, spent a lot of time via email and phone. I decided to buy. Games arrived in timely manner.

They were extremely well packed, took me about 30 minutes to remove everything. They were in perfect condition, just as advertised.

Be Warned - This is a sinking ship

I ordered an arcade machine from Vintage Amusement Company where I was promised a rebuilt machine with high quality parts. While this is exactly what I wanted, it was not what I received.

The machine is a fire hazard and it trips the circuit breakers in my house when I turn it on. The "high quality parts" promised were actually the cheapest parts available from China and the monitor was rebuilt with faulty capacitors. These are facts verified with the owner, Andrew. He knowingly sold me a defective machine.

Below are quotes from my order with him and what I actually received:

"A fully functional arcade cabinet with the 400 game system installed is $850."

- The Arcade machine never worked, and had more than one fault.

"New power supply: $75"

- Power shorts out our circuit breakers, no matter which one I tried at home. When I opened the cabinet, I could see that it was not rewired as promised. Several wires were not terminated, making it a fire hazard. "Complete rebuild of monitor: $100" - Monitor was rebuilt with faulty capacitors.

The owner admitted that he used discount parts that have failed his last 4 monitor rebuilds. "Add a new tracball: $150" - The trackball is not connected to the board, it is missing the wiring harness. The part that was promised to me, but never delivered. The owner was not very responsive to any forms of communications.

After I was finally able to get a hold of him, he did not keep any followup appointments. After the owner failed to contact me about these issues, I submitted a dispute with my credit card company. I finally was able to get in contact with the owner two months after I placed my order and worked out a return. The owner was going to be by my house and agreed to pick it up.

He never showed, but rescheduled for the next day. He failed to show again, and I never heard back from him for another month. Now that there is a dispute filed, he is telling me that he has changed his mind about the return. I do not believe that he ever intended to honor that promise.

It is now over 3 months after placing my order, and I do not have a working machine. It is sitting in my garage. I have made another purchase from another vendor to get a working arcade machine and am a very happy customer. Do not do business with Andrew if you want to work with someone that is trust worthy!

I have had a great response to my craigslist posting and have helped several others avoid this trap. I have also been contacted by many others that have been ripped off by Andrew in the past!

Even if I never get my money back, I will have the satisfaction of helping out others. This is why I am updating my review here.

I feel bad for Andrew, because he is injured and unable to do work anymore. This business is failing and he will do anything to scape up a buck.

I wish I would have read this before doing business with Andrew Culpovich. He now owes me more than $2,000.

I have a "Buyers beware" craigslist post in the Boston section. I have had others contact me with the same type of feedback.

If my CC company does not give me my money back, I am going to take him to small claims court. If you would like to do the same with me and others, contact me through craigslist.

Vintage Amusement Company Amazing Restoration Of Seeburg Jukebox

Vintage Amusement Company Amazing Restoration Of Seeburg Jukebox

I saw a couple complaints about Andrew and in my opinion they must be bogus. He sold me a Seeburg jukebox in "as is" condition a couple years ago.

I needed him to hold it for me until I had space for it. I forgot all about it for over a year. When I was finally ready I emailed him and he still had it. Took him a couple weeks to dig it out of storage.

But it was in same condition and he did not charge me for storing it all that time. I decided to have him go ahead and restore the jukebox which he did for a very reasonable price. He sent me pics when it was done and I literally said "WOW"! It looked almost like new.

He packed and shipped it to me a couple weeks later, it arrived in perfect condition and my wife and I love it. Kudos to Andrew!

Please...ANDREW IS PURE THIEVING TRASH INCARNATE. If he didn't rip off everyone he ever dealt with, it doesn't mean he didn't rip off many others.

He's been doing this for years, as he periodically falls off the grid, perhaps when things get too hot, and then comes back to do it again, and again, and... Well put, as one comment aptly compared him to a bad case of herpes--which comes back when least expected, never desired, only to cause more harm. Another few comments, from people who knew him as far back as high school said things along the lines of, "Once a *** always a *** or, "I'd be surprised to see Andrew's fame as anything other than being involved in a scam". To boot, he periodically tries to do credit and reputation 'repairs', to seem better than he is, with it always inevitably going to pot, as his *** ways always start to go into practice again.

Hence, this isn't even someone who screwed up, or even twice, needs another chance and will do better next time--forget about reimbursing all the people who've had the misfortune of dealing with this POS. Do a record(s) search on this *** pile of garbage, see for yourself. Incidentally, many of the positive comments for him are from himself under alternate handles. His 'standard' comments of, "There are 2 sides to every story", periodically crop up under various handles as well--that's Andrew writing for 'both sides'--one where he screwed you and the other where he's trying to cover his butt.

That, pretty much like his disclaimer, "You can't believe everything you read". Brilliant stuff--whoever said he was smart or original, just slick. And yeah, whilst you can't believe everything you read, it's unlikely countless people got together and took the time to post on so many sites. So far more likely, you cant believe what there is far less of--anything positive written about him, to reiterate, usually by his *** self, alias wise.

His other favorite comments, ones he reuses ad nausea, are, "Der....uh...well, being in this business so many years it's actually pretty good to have only a few negative comments." It's not a few, it's tons--there's a difference. Another excuse, when he takes your arcade machines, promises to repair them, and you see images of them on auction, with your other machines in the background, whilst he plays dodge games on the telephone, is, "Der...uh...well, I wasn't in when you called, I'm very busy, I called you back, no one answered, and I probably have multiples of every machine you gave me, so those aren't your machines...blah-blah....more bullshit...blah-blah." Yeah, they're not your machines as he stole them, with the same marks or damage on them, not even touching on rare or valuable titles, that it's unlikely anyone has multiples of, let alone in the lot that were given him. So yes, those aren't his machines, in that lot of exact titles you gave him, that is your lot, that he pulled of his truck and is now selling to put money into his pocket and never pick up the phone afterwards.

I am in the process of contacting some people, I do believe its high time decent folks got together and made the world a better place, shoved a boot his *** and face. Again, check around the arcade game community--not contacts Andrew gives or lists, but just check around in general--it wont be 5 minutes before TONS of people will have PLENTY to say about this subhuman *** bag.

Vintage Amusement Co. is awesome

I bought a used Galaga arcade game from Andrew. It was a cheap "as is" purchase which meant no guarantees on the game.

I was okay with that because of the low price on it. He shipped me the game and when I powered it up it did not work. I called him to see if he could help, he was able to get the game running by telling me what to do, ended up just being a loose connector. IMO, the couple of complaints on here are bogus.

He did not owe me or have to help me at all but he did so without batting an eye. Gets an A+ in my book.

I bought a pinball and a slot machine after seeing ads for them on Craigslist. Sent him a check for them, then drove up from Boston few weeks later to pick them up from his shop in Windham.

Andrew seemed like a great guy to me. Games were nicer than I expected.

He spent 30 minutes showing me the ins and outs of the games. So my experience was great!

Over the past few months, I bought 3 game from him. All of them arrived just as advertised, no problems.

Never recieved item. Seller avoids confrontation. Andrew Culpovich stole 4625 dollars

I bought a couple amusement games from vintage amusement in windham maine over a year ago. I made the transaction with Mr.Culpovich over the phone, where then he directly took 4,625 dollars out of my account.

Weeks go by and nothing, and then months. I finally tried to contact Andrew Culpovich, but that was a job in itself. After numerous phonecalls I finally contacted him which then he stated "The games must be with the freight company because I sent them" I then asked what the freight company was to take matter into my own hands, he then stated "He doesn't know which freight company he used" and that he would figure it out and call me as soon as possible.

Never heard from him again, and Ive tried to reach him several times after that incident. I will pursue this incident legally

BULLSHIT....NOTHING HAS BEEN RESOLVED....MORE LIES WRITTEN BY ANDREW TO COVER HIS OWN ASS...JUST LIKE HE'S BEEN DOING FOR YEARS....SUBHUMAN, CONNIVING, THIEVING, PILE OF TRASH....YOU WILL GET YOURS...MARK MY WORDS--SCUM!!!

If you want to contact each other, I too have been *** over by Andrew ROYALLY. It's probably a good idea if at least a few, if all would be too good to be true, people he jipped over the years, got together, and figured out what to do over this sack of sub human debris.

This business is bad enough, if not already, for all the greedy vendors out there.

But to have an outright thief? That makes a bad lot even worse.

How do we exchange some phone numbers and addresses, talk to each other and figure out how we can some compensation, not to mention justice, for this *** :( :( :(

Naw...all the *** that Mr. Andrew Culpovich likes to pull, with taking peoples' money, goods, or both, is ABSOLUTELY true.

So too, his sudden difficult to reach act, when he either doesn't answer his phone, if you're calling from a number he knows, doesn't know what's going on in his own company, not that he has so many people working for him, promises to call back, but never does...YEAH, that's Andrew, and guess what,if this is is what's going on in your deal with him, you've just been screwed.
