Buy something if you want this to happen.....
Man, where do I start? I purchased 3 game systems from Andrew during 2003-**** and the game systems were amazing and the service/responsiveness from Andrew was amazing.
When my last game system failed in 2017, of course I reached out to Andrew to purchase another.
And it was the COMPLETE opposite experience this time around. He was very unresponsive to all forms of communication (phone calls, texts, and emails) and it took about 8 months for me to finally receive the game system from him. When it finally arrived, now came the task of getting it set up and actually using it. Andrew said he wasn't familiar with the set up side so he put me in touch with a guy named James who was flat out HORRIBLE.
He spoke to me like I was a fellow computer expert like him and got very frustrated with me when I couldn't keep up or understand what he wanted me to do, all over the phone. But I needed James (and Andrew) so I bit my tongue and dealt with his terrible customer service and frustrations with me.
The game finally got set up after almost a month of trying to do so with Andrew/James and for the first few months, it worked great. However, then my favorite game got a "glitch" that wouldn't go away rendering it unplayable. Andrew said it was probably a faulty mother board and then began months of empty promises, minimal to zero responses to communications, and ultimately no new mother board or fix to the game.
So, I just continued to play other games until recently, now all the table top controls don't work at all, just like that it stopped working. Of course now I'm 2 years removed from purchase and Andrew hasn't responded at all to my efforts to reach him.
SOOOO, if you are considering buying anything from Vintage Amusements, DON'T. If you are considering doing any level of business with Vintage Amusements, DON'T. I seriously don't know what happened to this guy, from 2003-**** he was great, no complaints at all.
But something changed drastically because he wasn't the same business person in 2017.
I frankly don't know how he sleeps at night knowing how many people he has wronged out there. So, if you decided to do any level of business with Andrew and this company, who have been PROPERLY FORWARNED.
Slots from Andrew Vintage Amusement
My experience with Andrew was great! I think the complaints on here have to be bogus.
I bought a couple of slot machines from him from an ad he had on Craigslist. Unfortunately they were damaged while in transit with the freight company. This was not Andrew's fault nor his responsibility, the machines were very well packed. But he worked with me to get a claim filed through the carrier which turned out to be very time-consuming.
And what the carrier didn't cover he ended up getting me the parts needed for free.
He is a stand-up guy no question about it. Don't hesitate to do business with him, just ignore the trolls and haters.
Vintage Amusement Company - Classic Multicade Arcade Game Pinball Review from Bar Harbor, Maine
We bought a vintage mechanical pinball machine and a custom video game that plays a bunch of classic arcade titles from the eighties. Did everything by phone text and email.
They cannot take delivery right away because of work being done inside our home.
That ended up taking a couple months longer than planned, Vintage Amusement just stored our items for us no charge. Once we were ready it took a couple weeks but they delivered the games are awesome everybody loves them.
Slot Machine Review
Bought a slot machine from Andrew. Found it online.
We did everything by email and phone.

Great Deal on Arcade Game from Vintage Amusement in Maine
I've been hunting around New England for one of those classic multigame machines that have become popular. There were some specific games that I wanted it to have and I could not spend more than $1,000.
Galaga, Donkey Kong, Centipede, Pac-Man and Time Pilot were my favorites form the 80s. Everyone wanted like $2,000 for one of these games. I found Andrew from an ad on Craiglist, he said he could make one for $1,000 with a tracball and I could pick the arcade cabinet to use. I ended up getting one with a custom marquee in a sweet old school cabinet.
I picked it up from his shop, he showed me how it works, etc...
game looked and played great. He was easy to deal with and I would certainly do so again.
- Reasonable prices
- Great quality games
Vintage Amusement Company - Andrew Culpovich great job!
I purchased a Ms. Pac-Man and Donkey Kong arcade games.
They were my first games so I was nervous about process. Especially since I needed them shipped from Maine to Texas. I read a bad review on here when I first found his games online. But he also had good reviews and perfect feedback on Ebay.
So I called to try and make my own evaluation. Andrew answered all my questions, spent a lot of time via email and phone. I decided to buy. Games arrived in timely manner.
They were extremely well packed, took me about 30 minutes to remove everything. They were in perfect condition, just as advertised.
- Exccellent packing
- Reasonable prices
- Great quality games
Be Warned - This is a sinking ship
I ordered an arcade machine from Vintage Amusement Company where I was promised a rebuilt machine with high quality parts. While this is exactly what I wanted, it was not what I received.
The machine is a fire hazard and it trips the circuit breakers in my house when I turn it on. The "high quality parts" promised were actually the cheapest parts available from China and the monitor was rebuilt with faulty capacitors. These are facts verified with the owner, Andrew. He knowingly sold me a defective machine.
Below are quotes from my order with him and what I actually received:
"A fully functional arcade cabinet with the 400 game system installed is $850."
- The Arcade machine never worked, and had more than one fault.
"New power supply: $75"
- Power shorts out our circuit breakers, no matter which one I tried at home. When I opened the cabinet, I could see that it was not rewired as promised. Several wires were not terminated, making it a fire hazard. "Complete rebuild of monitor: $100" - Monitor was rebuilt with faulty capacitors.
The owner admitted that he used discount parts that have failed his last 4 monitor rebuilds. "Add a new tracball: $150" - The trackball is not connected to the board, it is missing the wiring harness. The part that was promised to me, but never delivered. The owner was not very responsive to any forms of communications.
After I was finally able to get a hold of him, he did not keep any followup appointments. After the owner failed to contact me about these issues, I submitted a dispute with my credit card company. I finally was able to get in contact with the owner two months after I placed my order and worked out a return. The owner was going to be by my house and agreed to pick it up.
He never showed, but rescheduled for the next day. He failed to show again, and I never heard back from him for another month. Now that there is a dispute filed, he is telling me that he has changed his mind about the return. I do not believe that he ever intended to honor that promise.
It is now over 3 months after placing my order, and I do not have a working machine. It is sitting in my garage. I have made another purchase from another vendor to get a working arcade machine and am a very happy customer. Do not do business with Andrew if you want to work with someone that is trust worthy!
I have had a great response to my craigslist posting and have helped several others avoid this trap. I have also been contacted by many others that have been ripped off by Andrew in the past!
Even if I never get my money back, I will have the satisfaction of helping out others. This is why I am updating my review here.

I feel bad for Andrew, because he is injured and unable to do work anymore. This business is failing and he will do anything to scape up a buck.

Vintage Amusement Company Amazing Restoration Of Seeburg Jukebox
I saw a couple complaints about Andrew and in my opinion they must be bogus. He sold me a Seeburg jukebox in "as is" condition a couple years ago.
I needed him to hold it for me until I had space for it. I forgot all about it for over a year. When I was finally ready I emailed him and he still had it. Took him a couple weeks to dig it out of storage.
But it was in same condition and he did not charge me for storing it all that time. I decided to have him go ahead and restore the jukebox which he did for a very reasonable price. He sent me pics when it was done and I literally said "WOW"! It looked almost like new.
He packed and shipped it to me a couple weeks later, it arrived in perfect condition and my wife and I love it. Kudos to Andrew!
Vintage Amusement Co. is awesome
I bought a used Galaga arcade game from Andrew. It was a cheap "as is" purchase which meant no guarantees on the game.
I was okay with that because of the low price on it. He shipped me the game and when I powered it up it did not work. I called him to see if he could help, he was able to get the game running by telling me what to do, ended up just being a loose connector. IMO, the couple of complaints on here are bogus.
He did not owe me or have to help me at all but he did so without batting an eye. Gets an A+ in my book.
Never recieved item. Seller avoids confrontation. Andrew Culpovich stole 4625 dollars
I bought a couple amusement games from vintage amusement in windham maine over a year ago. I made the transaction with Mr.Culpovich over the phone, where then he directly took 4,625 dollars out of my account.
Weeks go by and nothing, and then months. I finally tried to contact Andrew Culpovich, but that was a job in itself. After numerous phonecalls I finally contacted him which then he stated "The games must be with the freight company because I sent them" I then asked what the freight company was to take matter into my own hands, he then stated "He doesn't know which freight company he used" and that he would figure it out and call me as soon as possible.
Never heard from him again, and Ive tried to reach him several times after that incident. I will pursue this incident legally
