Villa Russo

Can anyone tell me how I can break my contract with them? I have my wedding booked but it's no longer a place I want to have my wedding held.

Is there anyway I can get my down payment back or at least most of if ? Thanks

Im surprised that nobody has complained about the administrative charge of 20%. When I asked what this was for, I was told its to pay our staff.

What restaurant, catering hall, etc. have you paid to have food served? This is completely outrageous to me. In parentheses, it says: This is not a gratuity.

Really? Yes, it was. I will never hold another event at Villa Russo again. The area is not really very nice, parking questionable, food mediocre at best.Trust me the place is dated.

You can have an absolutely beautiful wedding at another venue for less, and quality. You'll also find that servers are employed by the venue to serve you!

Villa russo really sucks i agree with the reviews they have on this site. I was lured in there by a show and then I had all these different type of vendors calling me.

I ended up using the photography and video and the reception hall, and that was the worst mistake ever. The food was horrible the photographer sucked and my video was ridiculous, it was like a family member did it. Do not trust villa russo and his so called preferred vendors he will ruin your day.

Villa Russo Catering Hall is the Worst wedding reception I have ever been to in my life...and I'm a former assistant of a wedding planner. To start out, you enter a dimly lit room with pictures of other couples getting married on the walls. The centerpieces are plastic flowers thrown in a tumbler of water with a light at the bottom and the dance floor is on the other side of the room, mostly secluded from the guests. If you don't spring for the extra bar package, then the only drinks that'll be served during your reception is lemon water, raspberry iced tea and a crystal light tasting fruit punch. When they finally do serve dinner (which was the only thing not their fault as the bride and groom photo session ran late) you're directed to a buffet with a choice of three soggy salads and cold sides and entrees left to heat with warming trays.

This isn't even the worst part about my evening. No, the worst part was the HORRIBLE DJ that I have booked through Villa Russo's preferred vendors. Not only did he keep a revolving playlist of very outdated songs, but he hardly played anything in it's entirety. If that weren't bad enough, he would get through a task like the father/daughter dance and loudly check it off to the guests. Worst of all, there were several women that weren't interested in participating in the bouquet toss and rather than let it slide, he was rude and went out of his way to point them out INDIVIDUALLY with a snide comment attached to the guests.

Brides and grooms beware! Villa Russo's Catering Hall is the worse!!!!!!! As a guest, seriously disappointed in this place!!

Do not trust this hall at all!!! Villa Russo is the worse reception hall I have ever been to.

I really regret having my wedding there. When I have booked my reception hall the very next day I had all these vendors calling me. I have visited them and decided to use there services. I used everything from Villa Russo, from the DJ all the way to the flowers.

The day of my wedding everything was a nightmare, the food was terrible, the DJ sucked, the liquor was all cheap liquor. I really regret using them, they were really expensive to for what I have gotten. I paid about $90 per plate and that was expensive for a place like Villa Russo, it was too late when I booked them, George Russo has convinced me, the sucker I am, after that I realized how fake he was. He is nice to you in the beginning just to get your money, but after that he doesn't care about you one bit.

Do yourself a favor, if you are getting married do not trust a place like Villa Russo do your wedding, they are over priced and George and his staff are so fake. They are nice with you until they get your money. There vendors suck, especially the DJ. Stay away.

George Russo should get out of the business if he is going to be destroying a brides wedding.

This is the only day we have that is special. Villa Russo has destroyed that day.
