You said two days to get an answer for my Bags. I need to reflectors and two locks I sent the pictures still.

I just got a call from my dealer. He tells me that the bags ordered from Vikingbags are not new.
In fact, they are already drilled and these holes do not match the installation on a Suzuki M109 (see attached photos). So someone has already tried to install them on another motorcycle!! For a correct installation it is therefore necessary to drill 4 other holes, which affects the sealing and the solidity of the saddlebags...
In reality, I am very disappointed with this gesture of the company Vikingbags and I hope this practice is not common otherwise other bikers will also be scammed!!!

First of all, I would like to thank you for the speed with which you responded to my complaint.
Ordered online on August 2nd, I did not receive the order until August 16t has the package was intercepted by Canadian Customs and charged me an additional cost of $106.23 in Canadian currency (documentattached).
Considering this customs problem in terms of time, money and complications.
I asked my motorcycle mechanic to seal the holes and seal them to prevent any water infiltration.
Under the circumstances, and given all the problems surrounding the holes already drilled in the saddlebags, requiring the additional work mentioned above, I would appreciate a compensation of $100 under the circumstances.
So I want to draw your attention to the fact that I am French-speaking. So to communicate with you more clearly, I use the google translator. Wishing, that the translation is fair and understandable enough for you.

We have reviewed your request and would like to inform you that we would not be able to offer any type of compensation for the issue you are mentioning due to the fact that the bags have been installed.
Items received with any such defect need to be reported immediately to process an exchange. Once the bags have been installed the consumer accepts the condition of the bags.

Customer Service SUCKS!
I have been trying to buy a set of saddle bags for three days now. I have left messages, emailed them and even tried the on line chat.
I just have some questions before I purchase on line, They truly do not seam to care. I have even responded to one email with some questions and they never replyed.

cost me 122.00 to ship the bags back which was not reimbursed and then they held back the shipping of the original packaging. Stay away from Viking Bags
Went to their site and chose the bags for my vtx1800. Bags did not come close to fitting and had to send them back at a cost of 122.00. Three weeks after they received the bags back I got a credit shorted the 24.99 I paid in tax.
The chart they provide is inaccurate.
The customer service is super slow.
Broke the law by not returning the tax on the sale.
Stay away from Viking bags there are enough bad reviews out there I believe the good ones are their employees attempting to over shadow the bads ones.
Product claimed the bags won't cave in however
however that it is not the case. I purchased these bags late June of 2013 and I have to say I was impressed with the look and design but shortly after using the bags once..the right bags cover started to cave in.
I really wasn't looking for new bags but more for a solution to fix the problem. I got in touch with Nick at Viking Bags but don't waste your time. He followed up once to say he would look into it and then after weeks of not hearing from him I sent another email inquiring about what to do. He sent an email back and said the bags were out of warranty ...SORRY.
WTH.... I am not looking for free bag I am looking for solution so here I sit with a set of Viking bags that look like ***.
I have sent others their way to purchase bags..and I am sorry I did that.

VIKINGBAG does not return money. My friend ordered bags that were discontinued and this company did not credit the money back.
Do not buy from them; you could lose your money. The website seems to be very easy and efficient. Don't let the convenient website fool you, they are thieves. The customer service department does not get back to you.
The end result is there is no other recourse but to write to the Attorney General for assistance because the company does not make any attempt to resolve the issues. Move on to a more reputable company and don't risk the loss.

7,000 miles in and the bags are still holding up great. I turned to Viking Bags after a buddy of mine purchased a set which saved his leg during a fall. The bags absorbed all the impact and damage saving the bike and his leg.He now has sworn to only buy Viking Bags for life and made me a fan too.
