I am complaining about one of century casino properties THE FARMSTEAD in Caruthersville Missouri. I was charged a Smoking/Damage fee of $284.31.

I never smoke in the room there is smoke detector in room that never turn on because i did not smoke in the room. The blunt wrap what was listed by the manager were in the bathroom trash can nothing throughout the room .The exaggeration that was stated in the description of service fee this morning was very deceiving the morning manager verbally told me that , even if I didnt smoke in the room the scent of smoke is in the room , and they would have to shut it down for a complete cleaning service.What a huge assumption she would make, My card was charge twice one for an error they fixed immediately and this time a smoking/damage fee which Ive stated I never smoked in the room I understand completely its against the hotel policy. As far as the room not being cleaned when i checked out thats another thing Im not understanding I was charge for not only smoking/damage fee but a cleaning fee for food mashed into carpet as the description of service reads it, again this is deceiving . What was left was one empty bag of cereal and a bowel of half eaten cereal in it.

There was no damage done at the time of my stay in the unit 104 Neither smoking.

Not sure why the morning manager told me it would take all day to clean a room when I checked out before 11:00 am

Also during my last stay OCTOBER 4,2023 the last two rooms they had me switched because I found some of the past guest personal items (2 open water bottles and a pen insulin in the mini refrigerator)the only thing they did to try to make it right was gave me another room and that was also dirty (trash swept behind entrance door and water filled in the ice bucket)

The hotel is brand new for it to have these issues and the misunderstanding from managers is unacceptable.

Had I smoke in the room id completely understand the charge for $284.31.

Had I cause any damage to the property during my stay , Id completely understand the charge for $284.31. Had I left mashed food and blunt guts throughout the room Id completely understand the charge for $284.31 BUT none of this happened
