Viasat takes advantage of the customer's vulnerability! Told me there was no contract and when I called dissatisfied with the connection they changed the story to 2 years. This service is really bad!

Hasnt even been 30 days, got to watch 1 movie and it buffered the whole time, then said i was out of data 10 days after signup. Company will NOT work with you to resolve issues! Basically told me too bad, you are under a 2 year contract. I intend to take legal action.

Viasat - Very POOR service

Details
After install, the service did not work for 6 days. A ViaSat employee showed up the 7th day and the service was working just before he showed up. They said it wasn't their fault and refused to honor their part in crediting our account for 6 days of no access. They also totally lied to my wife (Who is technology impaired) and told her that all online games will work just fine on their system.

We were pulled in by TV commercials stating "unlimited Data" 5 x faster than any other service. These are lies, in reality they put you on some scale that you have no control of. All the available data to your area is divided between all the costumers. End result no one gets quality data everyone gets the message "your allotted data is used up until your monthly anniversary date and your data starts over again. The allotted data is very low and will last for a few days each month. Most of the month you buffet, give up and watch commercials on public TV. Viasat lies and misleads and fins you with a $225 dollar early departure fee. walk away do not sign a contract with these lairs. you will not have service, only anger.

I think they don't provide a landline phone. They are a satellite internet provider.You probably had their (very expensive) voice-over internet phone line.
