Expensive
My dog has to have this medication, along with 3 others, due to heart failure. It is not a necessity, but a definite need.
His other medications, are not as expensive, by far, but this medicine is overly expensive. It's a drug that has to be given, so providing for him is definitely a priority. However, there is absolutely no reason why this should be that expensive. I would imagine it's like most pharmaceutical companies.
Either pay it or die. Sad but true.
