Verified ReviewerCollaborating with corporation ripping off veterans.
I recently was engaged in trying to purchase an item from Samsung. They fraudulently charged me approximately 90.00 in excess of the item cost.
I cancelled the order and for two weeks of trying to get a resolution it became apparent this likely was no accident and that using bait and switch tactics, offering promotional codes then not honoring them was par for the course with this company. They had no desire to resolve the issue which is not surprising looking at their previous history of reviews. However, Veterans Advantage who claim to support "Veterans" has a collaborative relationship with Samsung and offers discounts on their products for veterans who subscribe to their service. I do not.
However I did contact them and questioned why they would do business with a company that intentionally defrauded a veteran and then engages in bait and switch tactics with promotional codes.
Of course it's their decision to engage with a company that doesn't value or support veterans however it is incumbent upon me to let other know before they do business with them they are clearly in it for the money and not to serve the veteran community.
How can you claim to be supporting veterans when you partner with companies that don't hesitate for a moment to rip us off. I also offered to speak with someone and discuss the evidence I had which Is being submitted to the State Attorney General to investigate the fraudulent billing of my credit card but there was no interest.
- Align with companies that defraud veterans
Preferred solution: not looking for anything. They apparently don't care about doing business with a company ripping off veterans but I think the public should know about it.
