I went last night.
Night worth the price of admission. 29 somolians per person is a lot for a high school production of a haunted house.

This was our 5th year going on this haunted hayride and definitely our last. We have noticed over the last couple of years that the quality of this event has gone way down and it has become more and more lame. They are cutting back for sure, this year was the last straw!

We got there at 6:00 & due to experience knew that it was important to keep our group (20) together so we could be on the same wagon. We waited in line till 7:00 & had a blast.
The place is decorated amazing and it was just a great evening.
My 10 tr old was horrified and the 7 year old lived it.
WHAT HAPPENED?

- - Tickets near $20; family spent over $100 and won’t return.
I don't know what happened to this hayride over the past few years. We went last week and it just doesn't have the pizzazz that it used to.
The first time we went 3 years ago was fabulous – Huge crowds of people, tons of excitement, lots of really great actors, great food, and a really exquisite haunted hayride!
I don't know if they cut back on certain things or just aren't putting as much work into it, but the haunted hayride we just took there was boring, predictable and just didn't have much going on. The tickets are nearly $20 each, so it cost our family over $100.....We won't be going next year.

My friends and I wanted to go on this hayride at Verhulst. We heard good things.
We were charged $18 per person when it wasn't even worth that much. It should of been like $5 at most but you paying for equipment and workers, I get. Honestly the worst haunted hayride. I went to a haunted house for $13 the week before and had more fun.
It was fun but funny. We tried to make the most of it which was laugh a lot of the time. The actors didn't do their job on scaring us. Many of them stood there doing nothing.
It was cheap and honest more for childern. The iorny about it all is that is was not for kids under 7. I think they should. They had a lawn mower instead of a chain saw.
You can tell they were cheap about things and charge a lot. I later found a better place where they charge $20 for haunted houses (3 of them) and a haunted hayride with corn maze. They are a ripe off. Please save your money and don't go to Verhulst hayride at Cobble Farm in Spencerport NY.
Instead go to Haunted Hayrides of Greater Rochester. It maybe be more of a drive like 30 mins but its cheaper and worth your time and money.

Williamson is more expensive then verhulst $28 to $20.
And verhulst has all live actors where Williamson has a lot of animitronics
I completely agree. It's not worth your money. Its more for little kids.
