Verified ReviewerHave not received refund as told
I have been hung up on multiple times and have been told to stop calling. Someone got on the line and claimed they were the owner, saying they would get to me when they had time.
They told me to stop calling and they took $325 from my funds as a restocking fee, even though I was never originally informed about this. They charged me this fee after doing absolutely nothing for me.

Verified Reviewer |Bad Engine Recieved
I purchased an engine for my 2008 Lexus IS 250 August 2024. Immediately after installation and test drive (less than 5 miles) I discovered an oil leak.
The mechanic said it was lower oil pan. Company said theyd reimburse me $800 because that was an additional $2000 repair and I never received it.

Note* I have documentation to back up my claim*
On May 3rd 2024 I experienced a catastrophic event with my 2017 Jaguar XE 35t R-Sport. On the interstate on my way to work at 6 o'clock in the morning, my alternator belt broke.
This caused a chain of events to happen that cause my engine to blow. We contacted who we thought was a company called USA Motors. We were told they had a Jaguar XE motor with 5,000 miles on it with a 5-year warranty. The price for this motor was $9,050.
All we had to do was wire the money to Chase Bank for a company called Vander Motors. Once the money was received, we would get pictures of the motor we purchased. In the details of these instructions, we were told the motor was like new. The money was wired on May 20th 2024.
We never received pictures of the motor that was purchase like we were told. After waiting a week, I contacted Vander Motors to get information on my purchase. It was then that I was told that I owe a $300 core charge that was never mentioned when the motor was purchased. I was made to believe that my motor would not be shipped until the extra $300 was sent to them.
I was told that they had to have the $300 or my old motor that had to shipped to them at my expense. After a very long back and forth and being told that they had to have the core charge or my old motor because it was money to them, they were told this was not part of the original agreement and the extra money would not be sent. I was also asked to not give them a bad review. My motor was shipped on May 29th from A&S Auto Wrecking in Phoenix AZ.
I understand that my car is a 2017 Jaguar and the motor I was getting was evidently coming from a Jaguar that had been wrecked. So, this was not an issue for me. But we were under the impression that USA Motors or Vander Engines had inspected the motor and was supervising the packaging and shipping of this very expensive motor. When the motor was finally delivered the pallet it was shipped on was damaged and broken.
Once my mechanic received the motor and began the installation, he noticed the drive belt and alternator belt that is supposed to fit a 2017 Jaguar XE motor were too large. He had to get the VIN from the shipped motor and take it to a Jaguar dealership to research the correct part numbers. It was then that my mechanic was given documentation showing the motor I purchased and was told only had 5,000 miles on it was not the motor I received. According to Jaguar the VIN on the new motor belonged to a 2014 Jaguar and the last documented mileage was 68,000 miles.
I never received a receipt for my purchase or documentation for the 5-year warranty that Vander Engines claimed came with the supposed like new motor. This is a major case of bait and switch.
I paid for a motor with only 5,000 miles on it and received a much older motor with 68,000. I paid a like new price for an old motor.

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY
I was told they had an engine with 37K miles on it, they sent me pictures of an a vine claiming that was the 37K mike engine. I paid for the engine, and what I was sent was sn engine with 196,606 miles.
Vander didnt even have an engine for me, they took my money, purchased an engine the day after, from a salvage yard to have sent to me.
Vander refused to give me the vin number to the vehicle the engine came from.
I had to match the Engli number through the dealer, to get the vin number and the service details.
Shawn was very confrontational, and upset that I asked for the vin number. He became furious when he found out I contacted the recycling yard in San Diego where they got the engine to sell me to get the vin number.
Company will scam you.
I still have not received my money, I now have to have my bank step in.
