- - Ray Brown, 25 years in Toronto wheel service, reports about $5M in sales.
- - 2-month wait for A117 upper-arm parts for Rotary R1150; Atlas cheaper.
How the mighty have fallen to the bottom.
I have been a Rotory, wheel service, and Forward sales person in the Toronto, Ontario area for 25 years.
I have made approximately 5 million dollars worth of sales.
I am so disappointed with the lack of replacement parts available for my customers.
For example, there is a 2-month wait for a wearable part like the A117 upper arm tool for a Rotary R1150 tire changer. My customers cannot use the tire changer without this part.
Rotary should have hundreds of these in stock.
Rubber pads for Forward 1 x10 and I -12 2 pot lifts are out of stock.
I buy my equipment from ISN Canada, they tell me it's not their fault, Rotary is the problem.
For years, getting parts from Rotary in a timely fashion was very good.
Now, it is terrible.
I refuse to promote or sell your product anymore,
for two reasons: lack of wearable replacement parts, e.g., cables for some Rotary lifts,
and you have priced yourself out of the equipment market in this area.
Rotary used to be an affordable lift for the smaller shops, which amounts to, I guess, approximately 5,000 shops in this area.
Your rep a few years ago said Rotary had 54% market share. I now doubt you have 10%. That’s a huge drop.
I know COVID did a lot of damage to everyone, but that was 2 years ago.
That's not a good excuse anymore.
I blame upper management at Dover, but I also believe that Rotary does not value this area at all.
At present, I can sell 2 Atlas PVL -10s for the price of 1 Rotary SPO -10.
Thank you, Atlas. Now, before you say the quality of Atlas is less than Rotary, think again.
For eight years now, my customers have remained happy and keep buying more.
There is only one question that remains unanswered in my mind. Will the Atlas lift last as long as a Rotary? Time will tell.
Your wheel service equipment from Ray, in my mind, is well made.
But, the price here scares everyone.
The service is the worst in the industry. The support regarding replacement parts simply, sucks.
I sign off now, as a very disappointed customer.
Regards,
Ray Brown

- - Paid $1500 for an auto warranty but got no coverage.
- - Paperwork shows two firms; the charge is from another firm; Kyle claimed to be the manager.
This company took my money for an auto extended warranty and basically sold me a $1500 peice of paper and NO WARRANTY! I called the name on the paperwork they sent me and guess what????
The other company on the paper said I should talk to the company that sold it. Well, after a lot of research on the net I found out that these are the same SCAM companies WITH DIFFERENT WEBSITES! They take your money and then run! I spoke to some guy Kyle ?
that said he was the manager and nothing got resolved.
I tried to dispute with the credit card company since the charge on my credit card is FROM ANOTHER COMPANY ENTIRELY!
