I called the 1-800 # and the person on the other end couldn't give me a complete answer because he couldn't understand English. He may speak it but could not comprehend what I was saying. They need to keep their customer services in the states.

My bill went up hundreds of dollars in a few days I was suppose to pay $91...I went to pay over the phone and $300+ dollars was added!

Find out about my refund for my deposit
- Gas service activated; cash payment made.
- Application withdrawn; refund check to be mailed to forwarding address; two weeks later no check.
To start I turned on the gas with them and was able to pay in cash at a local retailer. No problem there with them taking my money.
At the last moment the property management company withdrew or application and refunded us our money back. So I called Vectren to inform them I needed the service turned back off and needed to get a refund for the deposit I put down. Since I paid in cash 8 was told they would mail me a check so I provided them with a good forwarding address to send my money to. Not to mention since it was a Friday this was done on they wouldn't be able to make any changes to the new account until the following Monday.
It has since been 2 weeks later and no check. Just waiting it out and one day I'm sure I'll finally get the check.

Absolutely bad customer service

I received a letter from Vectren Home Solutions telling me that my "plan" premium was going up from $9.90/month to $12.90/month. I had no idea that I even had a plan until I reviewed my Vectren Energy invoices dating back to 2014; and sure enough Vectren Home Solutions has been charging me for some service that I had not agreed to nor signed up for.
This started when I purchased my home back in 2014 and the monthly fees now add up to nearly $500 for something I did not authorize. I WANT MY MONEY BACK. I attempted to call Vectren home Solutions at least 6 times today and all I got was put on hold for over an hour and that my estimated wait time to talk to a live body was 54 minutes. Then I tried the call back process and got the same runaround.
I'M TELLING YOU THIS IS A SCAM. I talked to Vectren Energy and they told me they can't do anything about it. They told me they just get the fees from Vectren Home Energy and apply them to my bill.
I FEEL LIKE I'VE BEEN PREYED UPON. Someone needs to talk to me about this.
