- - The car overheated in 2 days, unsafe to drive; repairs over $2000.
- - Dealer promised buyback but didn't return money; police called.
I purchased a car that began to overheat within 2 days of driving. Take it to the Jeep dealership and it is deemed unsafe to drive and a salvage repairs to even make it decent are upwards of 2000$.
The owner of the dealership said he would take the car back and never did. I went to him in person and he then called the cops on me. The cop called me and said that the owner said he would take the car after I got the title and he still hasn’t and is refusing to give me my money.
I’m now trying to take him to small claims court. Also his business was involved in a shooting about a week prior to me actually going to see and talk to him myself, so that shows you right there that this guy has scammed many others and has very poor business practices.
