Bad combination
Was set to 000 and I changed it to 629 and locked it and it wont unlock to reset it.. and yes I am putting it on the same number that I presented it to..just need to no how to reset it..

Q I really hope someone from this company reaches out to me. I purchased this at Walmart and I had locked my medications in the box completely following all directions that were stated.
I held the button and continued to modify my combination when I let go and try to reopen the box I had no success so I thought to myself I would go back to the original 000 that they had told me that would open it that neither opened it. Im on a medication that must be taken on an hourly basis. Its life and death.
The fact that I could not get anyone from the company on the phone is insanity. I am not one to look to sue or do anything drastic I all I want is either my money back or an actual box that locks and works!

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. Communicated a description of the issue along with photos.
The discovery of the issue was outside of the Amazon return policy so that is why I dealt with the manufacturer. 100% satisfied with the outcome.
Purchased July 6, 2023 on Amazon Canada. ORDER # 702-078****-564**** Didn't unpack and set up until March 10, 2024.
Set 1st lock with code, tested and it works well. Set 2nd lock (right side) with same code, tested, and the code I entered will not work to open it. I have tried multiple variations (one digit up/down, reverse) in case I had made an error. No luck.
So, the left lock works and the right lock does not work.
The right lock latch is mounted slightly off level, I am not sure if that is the cause. Otherwise, is there some way to remedy the issue with the right lock and get it operable?

Poor Customer Service
- - Two Vaultz VZ 01004 lock boxes were purchased at Walmart.
- - One box's slider seized; couldn't unlock; contents pried open.
- - Vaultz emails went unanswered.
I purchased two Vaultz VZ 01004 Lock Boxes from Walmart in August of 2016. Both of the combinations were set according to the directions and all worked fine until for two months.
The sliding mechanism on one box seized up and the box could not be unlocked. There was no way to reset the combination since the slider would not budge. I Had to pry the box open with a screwdriver to gain access to the contents inside rendering the box useless. I Have emailed Vaultz three times and have had absolutely no response from them.
It's apparent that Customer Service is not their best attribute. Think twice before purchasing their products if they are not willing to stand behind them.

Bought a $35 suitcase safe at Walmart and the left lock never worked- I emailed customer support who just sent me a copy of the directions I already had- no personal response or help with the problem. Emailed 3 more times- to indicate I still had problem--NO RESPONSE -- I guess they got their money so why stand behind their product?

Vaultz binder pouch
- - Returned four Vault locking binder pouches; same issue and poor quality.
- - Factory code 000 works, but setting a new code fails; zipper sticks.
I recently purchased a Vault locking binder pouch for my daughter. I am very disappointed in this product.
I have returned 4 of these locking pouches. Each with the same problem. They work with the factory code which is 000. Then you have the option of changing the combo to your own.
I follow the instructions to the T! but when I set it to my own code it then does not work. I have followed the instructions to the T!!! They are garbage!
The zipper is very haggered and gets stuck a lot to. They are junk. Not at all worth the price. I have also had other people tell me they have had similar issues.
I will never buy another Vaultz product ever again.
