Bad Customer Service

We went there to buy Toyota Camry and we were almost done with the pricing as we had a quote. Manager Glen interfered and arrogantly asked us to get the quotes in black and white as he needed proof. He was not even courteous while speaking. I feel management needs him to send him for customer service etiquette training. I request others not to deal with this manager if you are visiting this dealership. Toyota is very good company unfortunately with such sales persons the company gets bad remark. It is better to look for an another dealer who takes care of customer very well.

You are right! Any time the dealer starts to play games, walk away!!!!

There are many Toyota dealers. Also please consider buying used Toyota from private owner.

You are very intelligent! Continue with your process and you will not be ripped off!!

Vann York Toyota of High Point NC ripps off customers

On 10/8/2015 after finding a vehicle online I traveled to Vann York Toyota in High Point NC. It was a 2004 Volkswagen Jetta GL Sedan with 117223 miles. The carfax showed one owner and good service records. Our sales person was Bradford Severance he was a pleasant man eager to make the sale. I am disabled and the car I purchased prior was a complete let down. I informed the sales staff of my prior disappointment in purchasing a used car. I asked if the car had all mechanical serves preformed and up to date and was told it was up to date and a good car they had checked it with their master mechanic & it would be a great car for me. On 10/10 the air conditioner sopped working so we brought the car to the service department. They fixed it or so they claimed and we drove home only to find out it was not fixed and the check engine light came on. We were told by our sales person and by Corey Thomas the sales manager we had a 30 day 3000 mile warranty. They took the car back into the shop on 10/14 their master mechanic found they were unqualified to service my car so they sent the vehicle to Flow Volkswagen. We were promised that not only would they address our issues but that they would authorize Flow to check the car from top to bottom. A week later we got our car back, When we picked it up we were told by our sales person and the sales manager to not bring it to their service department anymore because they were not qualified to fix it. On 1/26/16 the car overheated & several symbols came on the panel. We took it to Flow again after checking our car they found the water pump was cracked, the serp. & T belt were cracked 2 tire rods were improperly installed & the outer CV boot was damaged & the breaks needed replaced. The total bill came to $2069.69 to fix what was improperly preformed by Vann York Toyota. This was all things we were assured by Vann York Toyota had been preformed by their service department, no to mention the fuse box was melted. We also found out that when they first sent it to Flow they had only authorized repair of the A/C not a total check of the vehicle. We called and the staff was rude and would not allow me to speak to a manager stating we should bring the car there contradicting what we were told. They would not help. After filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau Vann York responded with they would do nothing.
