Verified Reviewer |Resolved: Failure to pay me excess equity from trade-in in a timely manner.
Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with settlement agreement.
Bought a new Hyundai vehicle from Van Hyundai Carrolton on August 23, 2023. Dealer owes me a 5 figures payment of excess equity from my trade in.
Dealer has given no reason as to why I have not received payment 2 weeks later.
Quit responding to my requests for status on getting the money they owe me. I have filed a complaint with the Texas DMV which is under investigation.

Horrible Service on 2014 GT500 purchased from them
Nearly every time they have worked in my 2014 GT500 they have damaged it in some regard.
They have torn carpet in my trunk, scratched up the inside of my car, and after replacing my center console to correct a defect present at sale, my shifter came apart while driving on the highway... Scary!
They are rude, do not want to listen and help, and just want to take your money and move you along. I have been to *** and back with these people.
Not I or anyone in my family will buy any more cars from this dealership group.
Rewarding poor customer service just does not make sense.
Van Hyundai of Carrollton TX Rude, Sarcastic and Condescending dealer.
AVOID THIS DEALER AT ALL COST.
Last Wednesday I was searching for a car to buy on the Internet when an email arrived on my inbox . It was from a local hyundai dealer in Carrollton with what looked like a very good offer.
A 2011 Hyundai sonata GLS for about $17,400. After checking out the car images on their VanHyundai.com website, I noticed that an "e-price" button indicated the possibility to get an even better deal on that car. Ready to buy, I called in VanHyundai in Carrolton and asked for a sales person. I got a person who told me his name was "Chris" and after explaining the above, he told me with a Very sarcastic tone of voice that that car's "e-price" was the same as the listed price.
So I thank him and was about to hang up when he begun to ask what I thought the car was worth, I told him that during my research one of the places I looked at was Edmunds, and this type of car was listed at $14,500 - $16,500 provided it was in outstanding condition and given the fact that this particular car isn't new or certified and it already has over 29,000 miles in it. The sarcasm and condescending words of this "Chris" person became intolerable as he begun to tell me to go to Edmunds and "buy a car from their lot". I waited until this person finished and asked to speak with a manager or director. A "financial director" came on the phone after a long wait and I just told him what had just happened.
But I didn't go into the details as at that point I was truly upset with the experience. I just told this "financial director" that he was going to hear more about this online. So, here it is. Hyundai just lost a sale that was practically made.
I will never buy a car from this Van Tuyl Group. Besides been a cash buyer with the entire cash to buy ANY car I want and a very high credit score, I simply can not stand condescending, sarcastic, rude and uneducated people who find joy in treating customers badly everyday.

I just walked out on this *** Van Tuyl Group! I quickly realized how the structuring is a pyramid scheme that is designed only to help their tenured sales reps!
I was always told that, "buyers are liars" and this other bs! I even lost customers because my manager would come out of no where saying, "I was losing control of the customer"! (All I did was let the customer look at the show room vehicle.) Internet prices are always lower than the prices advertised on the sticker price.
It's to lure customers in and the price on the Internet can be matched or beat, don't let those liars tell you other wise! Overall just go some where else and the best time to purchase a vehicle is at the end of the month like the last weekend of the month!
