Stole our money
Had a tear in our pool liner so we trusted valley pool to give us a new liner and install. We paid over a thousand dollars to have this completed.
They hired some contractors to come over and do the install, well the contractors decided they wanted an additional $500 to complete the job, we thought that was somewhat suspicious and we called valley pool and they agreed and told us "It sounds like they are trying to scam you out of money" Valley pool is also telling us they have never heard of owing extra money after we already paid and agreed to a contract with Valley Pool. They said it didn't sound right and they were glad we called them because the whole thing was suspicious. They said they will probably cut the contract with these workers because of them acting this way. We are also told these are seasonal workers and they are probably just trying to get more money before the summer season ends.
We speak with the contactor while they are at my home and advise them this doesn't seem right and valley pool agrees. We tried to tell the contractor that if there is more money owed somehow they can talk to valley pool and valley pool can bill us. The contractor calls us " a cheap *** throws insults at us and storms off the job saying he will not finish. As stated before we paid over a thousand dollars to Valley pool and spa to have this job completed.
The job was NOT completed however we paid for it in full to be done. A day later we are informed by Valley pool and spa the manager wants to "stay neutral" and not get involved between the customer(us) and the contractor they hired to come to our home. They are unwilling to help us finish the job that we already paid in full for. Their tune changed completly from one day to the next, the first day calling the contractor they hired scammers and now they dont want to get involved?
We already paid to have this job done. The employee's on the phone said they were probably scamming us and they were going to cut the contract with them...none of that happened. They took over a grand of our money and are leaving the job unfinished. I would suggest to take your business elsewhere.
The problem lies when there is an issue with someone THEY hire to come to YOUR home, and Valley pool decide to take your money and not help you. They would rather us have the aggressive worker come back which would be dangerous for us and our family. The contractor is aggressive and does not allow a civil conversation.
These people were hired by Valley pool and spa...not us...we had nothing to do with these people. It's a shame Valley took our money and will not send anyone to complete the job that we already paid for
Poor Customer Service
I purchased a swimspa in Feb 2022. We were told the tub was blemished : scuffed.
The spa was delivered in May 2022. Immediately upon delivery, we noticed that one end of the spa was lower about an inch. In addition, one panel was crushed. We notified Valley Pool and sent pictures of the deformity.
We were informed that they would order a new panel and have the Regional Manager contact us about the spa deformity. At least once per month since May (water testing at store) I asked Rhonda when we would be contacted by the Regional Manager. This has never happened and weve been given a multitude of reasons./ excuses. Water cannot run off due to the deformity.
Weve been more than patient with them. Now- there is corrosion of the knobs on that end. We submitted photos and escalated. They told us that we were told about this blemish when we purchased it but we werent.
Lesson learned: 1) If you buy a blemished model, get IN WRITING exactly what the defects are.
2) do not expect to get the Regional Manager to get in touch with you. Were not sure he even exists. 3) its a waste of your time to get problems resolved with them.
Its always something the customer has done wrong.
I do not recommend this company. Poor customer service.
