Small casino, always crowded, hard to play

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

This review is for the casino only. We did not stay at the hotel.

Its great that the finally did away with the entry fee. We have been there many times, but we stopped going because it is a very small casino, they have a limited number of games, the place is always packed and any machine you want to play always has someone in front of it. I have spent 30 minutes walking around with my player card and cash in hand looking for anything to play. Other players are rude and will block and play 3 machines.

Security does not look for this and apparently its not a problem to them.

They have 2 of any machine and its difficult to find anything to play. As I said, we just stopped going.

Horrible casino and hotel. Sister had a wedding there, food was horrible, rooms not clean, found pills on the floor in the room and we were there with young children. Staff were unfriendly and miserable.

Spend more win less

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

last year at this time I spent about 87,000 and this year 98,000 got less food comp and less slot play this year, something is wrong with that.and why should I be elite and spend a lot of money and someone who is not gets the same or more than me.i play next to the same people betting 25 cents and 50 cent getting picked for the car giveaway.thats not right, the car giveaway should only be for the elite, and a diffent prize for them, they are not spending the amount of money a elite player is.something better change or I may not be coming back, the only reason I still come is because I have a great host Scotty.i will leave it at that. Thank you.

Valley Forge Casino - Review in Entertainment category from Malvern, Pennsylvania

I agree! This casino will get shut down the rumor across the entire casino is that they would rather take the find rather than pay cusumers.

I live 5 mins away and now I travel further away because at least the other casino let you play. Valley forge does not. You just feed the machines and they never turn over. You may get one bonus out of hundreds each visit winners are far and in between I know of soo many people who go to other casinos because vf is so bad.

It's a like stealing not gambling!

machines seem to be turned off. Someone needs to investigate immediately!!!!

Valley Forge Casino Resort Wedding Planning Review from Downingtown, Pennsylvania

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Beware when you have a wedding at the Valley Forge Casino in King of Prussia, PA. Wedding was quoted at one price, however prices continued to escalate.

My friend had some of her wedding gifts stolen. When her and her husband asked to see video of the gift box area, they got the run around. Then management told them they couldn't see the film.

After talking to family and wedding party members, they found out that many that was connected to the hotel wedding party room rentals were robbed during the wedding and reception. Also although all rooms in the wedding party were supposed to be charged at the same price, many were charged different prices. When questioned why, the hotel had all kinds of excuses. Yet they made no refunds.

People that are minority, beware.

Slots Payout Feels about 20%

I have been to this place numerous times because it is close to my home. I like slots and play at casinos in PA, NJ and Vegas.

Something is just not right here. I lose about 98% of the time and have lost thousands there. I am totally convinced that they are "paying" someone on PA Gaming commission to show they are complying with state law regarding minimum payout levels.

There is no possible way that the slot machines payout 89% as they report.

If a machine there seems somewhat fair, they will adjust it pretty quickly to take your money. I can point out every machine they've done this with. There's only 2 that I found in the whole place that previously paid OK, but now they're terrible like all the rest. If you win $20 here and wagered 1K-1.5K, you had a good night.

Trust me. You will lose and it will be a surprise how it goes down.

Most people have never seen so many non paying slot machines in one casino in their lifetime. I know I never had and I'm very experienced.

This is the worst casino I have ever experienced as far as poor payouts. They claim they pay thousands out per day - total baloney, these people are absolute crroks!

Guest

Same here, we haven't lost so much money, it's not funny. I know it's up to us to haven't self control, but, you would think you could win sometimes. :(

Guest

slot machines are set with a baseline from the factory to allow a percentage payback of options. Even if the casino was able to lower it on the fly, which they can't, it could only go as low as the factory setting allows, say for example 78%.

The percentage is always ALWAYS a theoretical payback. meaning, even at 89% payback. you could very well draw garbage every single time you go.

As experienced as this guy claims he is, he should knows more about slots than he does. this is the worst kind of gambler, a bitter know-it-all.

You probably work for the casino, odds-handler. Are your employment goals to try to squash negative comments about this terrible casino?

If so, you have a lot of work to do.

Valet refused to park my Aston Martin Vantage

Interestingly, the valet suggested that I self park my 200k Aston Martin as the owner was supposedly coming in that day.

Very inviting customer service. My car has been a show piece infront of any casino i ever visited. The guy should have offered to park it at least.

Been a member here since they opened.

Valet is the entry and welcome point to any hotel or casino. Either these people thought that they have taken enough money from me already or they must be doing really well. Either ways, I am pissed to a point where I am sure that I will not go there again.

Valley Forge Casino Resort at N. Gulph Road, King of Prussia, PA

I went with a friend to the Valley Forge Casino Resort last night. We thought we might check it out.

We were disappointed that we had to pay or had to get a membership to get in. The slot machine games were not very exciting but overall it was okay. We had another bigger disappointment with the Seven Nightclub at Radisson Hotel. It was Ice Nightclub before and we were looking forward to a great makeover but to our dismay, nothing had changed.

Seven Nightclub is the same old Ice Nightclub with people dancing and talking with glasses and bottles in their hands on the wet and dirty dance floor which is small like before. Which nightclub in a casino allow that?

Seven Nightclub can't even be compared with Michael's Cafe in Bensalem, what more to compare with the nightclubs in Atlantic City or Vegas? Valley Forge Casino Resort should have their very own nightclub which lives up to the expectation of what a nightclub in a casino should be.

Guest

I went to the Seven night club with a few friends and quite disappointed myself, the place was exactly the same as it was when it was called Ice. The only difference is that you have to pay to get in while you didn't have to do that before, they added booths which could cost from 200 and above and the music was lousy. For what???????

Guest

I agree with what Seth said. Alot of people post bad reviews about this casino because they have to pay to get in.

That is not there choice, but is instead required by the PGCB for a class 3 resort license. I bought the $60 annual dining membership which comes along with a free meal at any of the restaurants. I will probably go to the upscale Italian restaurant that they have opening up this month and with the meal including an appetizer, entree and desert will probably come close to getting my $60 back in food and I'll also have free access for a whole year on top of that.

The problem that I have with this place is that they just opened and the slots seem tight now. Can't imagine how tight they will be once the newness wears off.

Guest

First of all its a smaller casino for a reason. They are considererd a casino resort, the PGCB only granted them a class 3 license which allows them to have a casino only to support the exsisting property.

THAT IS WHY YOU HAVE TO PAY! If you think spending $10 dollars is a big deal which your gonna spend in 10 minutes you probably shouldn't be gambling anyways. I went there and i was actually quite impressed with the result with what they have to work with. They had all the popular slot machines that most people like to play and the set up of the floor is wonderful!

Most people don't like the slot machines becaues they didn't win.

lol. Wow and the club was a step up, it was decent, good crowd.
