We ordered a getaway weekend flight and hotel fo 4 days to Panama with VACATIONS BY MARRIOTT thinking they're professionals, but what a mistake! We had an issue in the check-in at airport with COPA and they didn't permit to board. So the Airline cancelled our flight. The Hotel on the package was the SORTIS at Panama City. We automatically tried to contact Vacations by Marriott to explain what happened and if we could reschedule or refund our package. Same way we sent emails to report the situation. It seems that they didn't contact to the hotel. We tried to do so, but the person of the front desk at SORTIS, she didn't want to assist to us telling that must be the agency who must contact them and hanged up the phone. Really rude treatment.(MANAGERS AT SORTIS...YOU MUST DO YOUR WORK) It was Friday, December 9, 2022 at 14:11 hours. To cut a long story short. After calls of duration between 2 to 3 hours each several days and wasted time talking with operators, supervisors, etc. the last reply is that no refund or reschedule is going to happen. But in the ad of the package posted by Vacations by Marriott on the internet states that if something like this occurs, the hotel will fee equal to the first night rate plus taxes and fees, but not ALL the money... IF THIS IS THE SERVICE YOU CAN OFFER, IS BETTER NOT TO DO BUSINESS WITH YOU, GUYS. My package reservation number was Itin# 724250****4445 and my claim waiver was 724250****4445 And I'm not going to stop writing reviews until I receive a proper reply from Vacations by Marriott as responsible of the agreement.
