Will not return my deposit

I used my credit card to rent a pop up trailer. The driver Steve showed up with the trailer and dropped it off.

He took my $500 and gave me a receipt. He came when I was done with the trailer and picked it up. I have not received my deposit and no one will return my calls. I spoke to Steve at 951-442-**** and he is aware that people do not get thier deposits back.

He should be the one to go after as he took our money.

I just want my refundable deposit back. I left the trailer in better condition than I received it in.

My family and I rented three trailers from VacationStationRentals.com, on July 1 through 5, 2011. The trailers were delivered to Rancho Jurupa Park on July 1. On that date, I gave the Vacation Station driver $1,500 in cash -- the required security deposit ($500 per trailer). My deposits have not been returned. I have left many, many messages, sent letters, and went to the street address on my contract.

My contact at Vacation Station contact was Linda. The driver who delivered the trailers was a Latino man, probably in his late thirties. When he delivered the trailers he was with his young daughter, 8-9 years old. She played with my grandchildren while her Dad set up the trailers. We offered both the driver and his daughter food and drink.

I would like to communicate with all who have been financially injured by Vacation Station and all connected thereto. Do you have information on Linda (last name)? How about information on the driver?

I hope to hear from you. Collectively, we have a better chance of finding these people.

My e-mail address is cvigueria@***.net.

Thanks,

chris

File a complaint with your credit card company. They will reverse the charge while they investigate. Make sure you have copies of all your transactions with this company because you will need to send it to the crecit card company as evidence.

Good luck.

Vacation Station RV Rental - Ripped Me Off- Do Not Patronize

I rented an RV from Vacation Station RV Rental May 26, 2011 and as of August 17 they have not returned my deposit and will not reply to my phone calls regarding the return of my $500 deposit. (www.vacationstationrentals.com , (909) 806-**** Phone (951) 253-**** Fax ) They do give you an RV but you'll pay way more than it's worth.

They meet you at a public place so you can't track them down.

We met at the train station for "our convenience". I wish I had seen these reviews prior to this transaction.

BUYER BEWARE - DON'T GIVE THESE CRIMINALS ANY MONEY!!

ANOTHER VACATION STATION SCAM/RIP OFF.

We ALSO rented a Coleman Santa Fe Pop-up tent trailer from VACATION STATION and picked it up on SUNDAY AT RIVERSIDE AMTRACK STATION. Meet"Steve" who was with his 2 young children. He drove a white pick up truck. "Steve" had the tent trailer locked to his truck and LOST the key. So he had to get a key made and deliver it to our home ~4 hours later. We paid $440 by credit card in advance and $500 money order security deposit on the day of pick up.

We returned the pop-up trailor on Sunday August 22, 2011. Almost FIVE WEEKS HAVE passed. I have left 7 messages, 5 EMAILS AND STILL NO RESPONSE!!! We are filing a Police report with the Riverside PD.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR COMMENTS..

LET'S WORK TOGETHER TO STOP VACATION STATION!!

While doing more research, I found a complain on Yellowpages.com that gave me the owners' name and address:

Michael and Michelle Bradshaw

10051 Limonite Ave

Riverside, CA 92509

Not sure how accurate it is but it's a step in the right direction. Need to look into the legal process now... Unfortunately I'm not local to Riverside so it's gonna be a mess.

My husband and I rented a trailer from Vacation Station in July 2011 and returned it in clean condition and have not received our $500 deposit back either. It has been over 2 months and we cannot get ahold of them via phone or email and like others have not been able to locate their physical address.

I have left a message with the Riverside PD Sgt listed above and am waiting for a call back. Like the others, we had our trailer delivered to a location and returned it to the same location as we were not local.

My wife and I rented a camper/trailer from Vacation Station (aka Happy Camper Rentals) near Riverside, CA during summer 2011. We did not receive our $500 refundable security deposit back even though we returned the unit in a cleaner condition than we received it.

If you've had a similar experience, please call Riverside PD Sgt Dan Russell at 951-353-****. I filed complaint P1113**** with the RPD.

As of September 10th, 2011, Vacation Station has not refunded nor contacted me on the issue listed above (Non Refund of $500). We have filed a complaint with the Riverside Police Department, and incur others to do the same.

Trailer rental will not return my deposit or return phonecall

I rented a trailer through Vacation Station RV Rentals. I paid with my credit card and they required a $500 cash deposit.

They delivered the trailer to my camping site and picked it up. It has been five weeks and they have not returned my deposit and will not reply to my phone calls, emails or faxes. Vacation Station Rentals, (909) 806-**** Phone (951) 253-**** Fax www.vacationstationrentals.com.

When contacted, they answer the phone and act willing to rent to me (under a different name). But, when I mention my situation, no one will call me back.

Does anyone know the physical address for this business? I see that Kari Goss above says she sued and won but can't collect.

I need an address to use to serve legal paperwork on them to start a case. If anyone has it please email me at maureenmunoz@***.com.

Also if anyone has any other suggestions for action, please advise! Thanks !

We were defrauded almost same way as many above. Rented a Santa Fe traiiler July 21 - Aug 6.

Delivery man took $500 deposit, and wondered why they rented a dirty trailer like this. He called himself "Steve" and was a slick front man. He even brought children with him, which needed to use our bathroom. Fortunately, we watched them.

We had broken wall cabinet, kitchen table, lights/water/electric/heater didn't work. We had a nice nest of Black and Brown Widows, the brake lights malfunctioned. "Steve" signed off to all of these complaints which we photographed and documented. I've contacted law enforcement, including Dan Russell 951.353.7106 of Riverside Police (contact courtesy of another victim).

I've also contacted my state legislator. They kept our deposit and charged us about $950 on the credit card. They did not return a dozen calls for help, answer email, or faxes, once they had taken our money. I should have empounded the vehicle.

It is not up to DOT or DMV code. We couldn't believe 'Steve' was going to rent it that afternoon to another customer. He was so smooth about it. Consumers beware of this fraud.

They need jail time for felony and pay back all the theft they've committed plus more. We should definitely band together and go after them.

To file a police report regarding Vacation Station / Happy Campers Rental please call Riverside PD Sgt Dan Russell at 951-353-****. I filed complaint P1113**** with the RPD.

We had the same thing happen. We just filed in small claims court except we are having trouble locating them to serve them with the papers.

Any help with an address would be appreciated.

Someone needs to contact the media (for example, Kcal 9). I think that is the only way the District Attorney and the police will pay attention to the case.

Guest

To: been done wrong too,

When the man came to deliver the tent trailer, he said he couldn't believe they were renting "this trailer" because the drawer unit was coming off the wall, the battery was dead, and it wasn't the cleanest unit I have ever seen. We actually had to nail the drawer unit back on the wall because it completely came apart as we drove it!

We should have known better!! However, there has to be a way to scam them right back with the police department's help. We need to ban together.

Anyone have any ideas? Has anyone contacted any authorities on this matter?

These guys have ripped me off the same way - the camper was dirty and I was supposed to get a credit back on my card $500 and deposit check in the mail. dont use them!

Guest

Well I am another person who got scammed. My story is exactly like everyone who has commented thus far.

I wish I had done my homework as well.

I would really like to get these criminals. What can we do??

Add me to the list. We returned our trailer Aug.

5, 2011 and no one will return calls or emails. I just checked and the website is gone now too.

Have any of you filed a fraud report with Riverside or San Bernadino Police Departments?

We need to stop these people. This is several felony charges.

If we can all call the same officer we might get somewhere.

Let's work together on this contact me @ VacationStationRippedMeOff@***.com
