Pure JUNK!

AI Highlights
  • - VA staff allegedly hinder cancer care.
  • - Facility is horrible and staff incompetent.
  • - Driving 200 miles for labs is unacceptable.

There are VA employees there who set up Veterans for failure seeking medical attention for cancer. This is a horrible medical facility!

Their support staff are complete idiots and would never work at any Veterans administration hospital except for here in "oppieVille". They say they're a different VA but there's actually only one VA. This place wants me to drive 200 mi versus 2 mi for labs.

This is completely unacceptable and no other veteran in the United States drives 200 mi for labs. The simpletons retaliate and live for animosity.

Poor Service

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
AI Highlights
  • - ER chest pains; ECG; referral to cardiologist shown to VA.
  • - VA unaware of referral after calls; pituitary tumor concerns.
  • - Nurse rude; VA care issues.

After going to ER with chest pains I got an ECG and the ER doctor referred me to a local cardiologist and I showed the referral to my VA clinic on 11-28-2022. Ive called twice since I went in and showed the VA clinic the referral notice from the ER.

Ive been told three times that they werent aware of any referral. The nurse got rude to me because Im exasperated and tired of wasting time with the run-around. I guess Im just going to have to forget medical care through the VA and use my Medicare from now on. I no longer trust the BA with my health care.

Been dealing with a Pituitary Macro Tumor for a few months and the VA has dropped the ball on that too.

Why is the VA so poor at health care for Veterans. Its so sad!

User's recommendation: Take a video camera into your appointment

Vets......Leave the VA Clinic in Silver City, New Mexico

AI Highlights
  • - 9 mm liver spot in a 70-year-old.
  • - 15 years at Silver City VA ignored symptoms.
  • - Transferred to Tucson VA Hospital and described as great.

My husband has a 9 mm spot on his liver. How long has it been there?

He is 70 years old. It took 15 years in Silver City's VA to ignore his symptoms..........so I transferred him to Tucson VA Hospital.........GREAT HOSPITAL>>>>>>>>>get out of the VA in Silver City, NM and transfer to Tucson, you will not regret it! No one is ever at the desk, limited doctors, don't get back to you with results, just numbers that go unexplained because there is no follow up. If you don't leave you could die faster than you think.

Main doctor there disappeared??? What a slap in the face to our wounded Vets.............

Reason of review:
Order processing issue

Preferred solution: get more doctors in there and better staff
