V2 Cigs - Customer Disservice!

8/2/12 - So after being told by V2 Cigs 3 times over the past week that my missing items were being sent and having not received a confirmation email, I called again. This time they just flat out tell me that they aren\'t shipping my batteries and that I\'ll have to go through Groupon for resolution.

Even though I\'ve been a loyal customer for almost a year (and one of their biggest fans to boot!) Well, I guess all things must come to an end. I\'ll go to Groupon and get my $$ refunded, but every chance I get, I will also tell anyone and everyone how poorly V2 Cigs treats their customers. While I\'m at it I\'ll also be contacting the Miami BBB to see if maybe they\'ll hold V2 Cigs accountable for not providing the promised product. All this over two batteries.

Pathetic...

If anyone knows of a good electronic cig company, I\'d appreciate the information. Thanks.

If you're thinking of doing business with this company, know that should you have an actual problem, you will not receive the level of customer service that they claim to provide. I have been a customer for 10 months and have spent a substantial amount of money with them. As with most new relationships, everything was fine in the beginning. There was the random issue of a defective battery which was resolved in a timely manner. Then it started with pretty much every time I ordered, the product that I requested was out of stock. It got to the point that I started reordering roughly a month before I knew that I would need the product just to insure that I would actually receive it in time. The final straw came when I took advantage of a Groupon offer of $24.99 for a starter kit and it finally arrived in the mail about three weeks later. The slow shipping has come to be expected but when I opened the (shrink-wrapped) box I found that both batteries were missing. I don't even know how that happens if there's any semblance of quality control... The starter kit isn't of much use without the batteries. Thankfully I'm not a new customer and had a batttery available. I called their CS Dept. to explain what happened. They suggested I contact Groupon. I explained that I contacted Groupon and was told to contact V2 Cigs (yeah, here we go...) On 7/25 V2Cig rep told me that replacement batteries would be mailed and that she would call me back to confirm. When I didn't recieve a confimation call or email by 7/28 I called CS again. Was told there was no mention on file of my previous call. This rep even went so far as to tell me that I must deal with Groupon as the product was packaged by them and they were responsible. I'm not a super genius but I do know how this works. When I argued the point, she put me on hold and never came back on the line. Soooo, I called again 15 minustes later and told my story to another rep. He assured me that he would take care of the problem and that my replacement batteries would be on their way to me Monday morning. Today I realized that I still hadn't gotten an email confirmation of this latest promise so I decided to check on it via web support. After 15 minutes of stitting in limbo staring at my computer screen, I learn that the batteries still haven't shipped. I'm told they will go out tomorrow. I don't really believe them, but then again I don't really have a choice do I? V2 Cigs, I know you monitor this website and I just want you to understand that due to your total lack of customer service, you have lost a good customer. You really should either invest training your CS reps in how to follow through or just rename the deptartment Customer Lipservice.

What a joke...

I have been with V2 for almost a year, maybe more. I have experienced so many problems with their product. When I first made my order I received the starter kit with the wrong amount of nicotine in the sample pack. The cartridges that I ordered came in sets of 5 in a small box. Half of the cartridges were not even good..so here comes the fun part... I was given a credit to replace the terrible cartridges. Okay fine. Next order...same issue...talked to a representative that basically called me a liar! Then I was told to put the cartridges in rice because they may have gotten water in them at the factory. I was told that the NEW & IMPROVED packaging would not have this issue but I should still put them in the refrigerator. So, I received my case and put the whole box in the refrigerator...same issue. Next case (40 btw) same issue... I must have ended up throwing away about 2 whole packages because these things are hit or miss. And yes, I did put them in rice...didn't do a thing! I just recently ran out so I contacted them to ask why this is happening and I was told to: Put the cartridges in the refrigerator in a zip lock bag( I should have been told this by the other operator) and to pry off the white cap with a paperclip fish inside the cartridge and move the mesh inside then try to shake it to get better vapor.... For a product that is supposed to be convenient...I have had to buy rice, use refrigerator space, and now fix the product that they send... It is ridiculous. I was with green smoke before and I hated the chargers but I NEVER put the cartridges in the refrigerator and I NEVER experienced any issue with the inconsistent cartridges. The batteries also are terrible. I have had mine and the large battery lasts about an hour...I was told I need to clean it once a week with rubbing alcohol and a toothbrush. I had an issue with my charger at greensmoke and they sent me a new one, free of charge. I also got nice coupons in my email from greensmoke and V2... the most you can get is 10% off and that is lost in the cartridges that don't work. So annoying. Bad customer service...it's always "did you try troubleshooting"....what great idea now???? I wish I never chose this company however when the congress cartridges work they taste really good. I guess i'm in search for a new e-cig company....again.... I'll try Smoke Stik next. I don't mind paying a bit more if it actually delivers...the cartridges die out too fast.. and what do they think if your out for the day your going to toss your cartridge in the refrigerator at work?? Awful experience.
