Insurance Fraud

AI Highlights
  • - Copay upfront via MyChart.
  • - Bills say due upon receipt and arrive within a week.
  • - Call center language barriers and long holds; fraud was reported.
Contains 1 confidential file for company representatives

This company demands copay money up front, before you see a doctor. They actually want you to pay on "My Chart" before you get to the appointment.

It never fails, after every visit, I pay my copay, see the doctor and within a week, I receive a bill from this company. They have several names, it's hard to distinguish who the bill is actually coming from. The bill says "due upon receipt." I wonder how many seniors go ahead and pay the bill. I also wonder if they ever get their money back for duplicate payment.

I have reported them to my insurance carrier for fraud. If you call them, you get a call center that barely speaks English.

I tried to call the number on the bill, I was on hold for over 20 minutes and finally gave up. I think people should be away of this kind of scam.

Pros:
  • Have great doctors
Cons:
  • Business practices are very sketchy

User's recommendation: Always demand a receipt
