Having to pay!!!
I've been a member of Ustream too many years over 10 years and has now come to my attention that that Ustream are going to charge their users unfortunately we as a company will be no longer using Ustream which is a shame!

Absolute worst customer service experience I've ever had. The tech support rep, Javier admitted that he was the only person at the office and frequently acts as a go between for all departments.
He claims that the billing department does not have a phone number, and that I could speak to his manager on Monday, whenever he gets in "usually by 9, maybe earlier." I don't need to speak the tech support manager, I have a billing issue. For such a big streaming platform that's owned by IBM, it's run like a blockbuster video.
They charge an absurd amount of money and not only don't provide assistance to their customers, they actually act annoyed. I'd go with any other streaming platform.

What is Ustream anyway. I just realised that I was charged Ustream fees every month for almost a year and I don't even know what Ustream is.
I never used it and I don't want it. There is a phone number on my VISA account. I called and they say there is no service at that number. Where can I call to cancel ?

Horrible.watch out for watchme c. They telemarket your business if you don't sign up with them they bash your business and give you bad reviews. I would stay as far away from this company as possible
Bullying to get paid subscriptions
Every 28 seconds, the channel I am watching freezes and the adds pop up along with the UStream add to pay to watch add free. UStream is basically sabotaging channels in order to frustrate viewers to the point that they will pay the monthly subscription fee.
It won't work. I am filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau for unethical practices. Additionally, I have notified the church that is utilizing UStream for their streaming site.
The pastor has received several complaints regarding this problem and will be seeking another streaming site in the very near future. UStream lacks integrity and judging by the numerous complaints, they should be put out of business.
Bait and Switch on Plan Pricing
I recorded a call to Sales at Ustream. They have 11 sales people. They said that their "silver package" was $99 a month. I said, is that all, the salesman Brandon, said yes. I then asked how come I was billed $99 for first month and then almost $400 the next month. THEN he mentioned the VH. What is VH? Viewer hours. Thats how much they charge in ADDITION to the $99 fee that they fail to mention. I got a bill for a whopping $586.04!! I'm filed a BBB complaint and next will file a complaint with the California Attorney General. Ustream's address is:Ustream

They give you NO information as to what you're being billed for! Just an amount and pay or they hold your account and all your recorded videos. It's extortion! Good luck getting through, however if you do, they are just a bunch of punk unprofessional kids and they will not help you!
Preferred solution: They provide NO information as to what this charge is for. I cannot sign-in to my account to even get my billing information. They are extorting this much in order to even talk to me!!!
Why so many ads
why are there so many adverts when i am watching ustream video. there never was any before.
it started this week and i do not like it.
please go back to the way it was before. why do i have to enter 100 words when the question is clear we do not like the ads all the time we liked it the way it was.
it is bad enough we have ads every where we go but to have them when we are watching a video is aggravating. i have contacted other people and they are pissed as well and will go to other streaming companies
Billing continued after cancellation
I cancelled my pro broadcasting service in July, 2012. I just discovered that Ustream has contintued to withdraw $99 for the following 9 months, for a total of $891.
The withdrawals were from an account seldom used by me, so I may be guilty of lack of negligence, but that does not excuse them from failure to abide by what they promised.
When I discovered the problem, I could find no support phone number nor and not even any good support service online. What I did find was extremely difficult to find (it took a half hour of searching) and then was not answered.
Scam Artists - Fake "Invoices"
Received an "invoice" for Telecom Maintenance Agreement. Amount is $425 and it says it is for preventive maintenance on all telecom system equipment.
Back of "invoice" contains contract boilerplate for a (3) year agreement. There is nowhere that this phony invoice says "promotion", "solicitation" or "advertisement". The document contains a reference number and looks for all purposes to be an invoice. The company address is P.O.

Lucky that our left and right hands are working together or we might have accidently paid it. These people belong in jail.
Worst customer service ever
I subscribed to ustream.tv's ad-free payment service and did a test run for 1 hour. All the feedback I got from the 1 hour of testing came back negative: the video was choppy, it froze a lot, the video had a ton of static, the stream completely cut out here and there. This test was actually worse than the original test we did with their free trial.
Therefore, I wanted to get a refund from ustream because the video quality and their service was not up to par. In fact, it's impossible to find a phone number to call someone in order to help figure out what is wrong with the video stream. You're forced to attempt to stream and browse the internet (which is very difficult) at the same time while debugging on your own.
I got an email back from the tech support indicating that I could not receive a refund because I had used 5% of the total available hours even if I was not satisfied with the product nor was going to use the remaining 95% of their product.
I am completely dissatisfied with their product and will never ever use ustream again.

Yes, I was a loyal watcher/listener of Ustream/ Lex and Terry until today. They (someone) blocked my chat stream, which I find very entertaining, not just the lex and terry part. It's INFURIATING that someone who is a member of Ustraem, with all their info in there, can say 'someone is Private Messaging me and so block their chat stream." Total BS, I hate on Ustream for life starting @ 7:12PM February 14, 2013.F-YALL 4LIFE
