USA Office Purchase

I first purchased an Epson Photo Black Ink cartridge 157 on April 28th, 2025. After tracking the package for some time I contacted USA Office Machines on May 13th, 2025 and was told the package shipped.

That was all the text said. Shipped. I sent back a screen shot of the tracking number to show that it hadnt shipped yet. That it was awaiting item.

After no response I sent, Will I receive confirmation of USA sending another cartridge as I was told today via telephone?

The response was It will show movement within 24hrs

On May 15th, 2025 I texted back, I don't see any movement for tracking number.

Response was, it has left us I can assure you --we have to wait for the USPS to update.

Finally after playing these games for a few weeks I decided to dispute the credit card charge with the credit card company. I filed a claim on May 16th, 2025.

On June 2nd, 2025, I received a package in my mailbox over one month after making the purchase. But it wasnt an Epson Photo Black Ink cartridge that was clearly shown on the USA Office Machine web site. It was an after market black ink cartridge that I could have bought on Amazon for $37 and had it in a few days.

One which I did not want. I shopped around looking for an original Epson cartridge and thats why I was willing to pay $56.39 for it.

So I contacted USA Office and after telling them I didnt want the ink cartridge they sent I was told they would email me a shipping label. Instead I received the following email.

Hello ,

Below you will see your return authorization #. Please be sure to enclose this email in the box with your return.

Please reply via email with return tracking information to inform us of the tracking #.

Returns will only be accepted with a valid RMA. Returns can be subject to a 25% restocking fee ( this is by a case by case basis ) . Please be sure to return the item in its original packaging and be sure to include all accessories. If you are refusing any technical support or exchanges a restocking fee will apply.

Be advised the customer is liable for the return shipping fees which are non-refundable by Ace Companies.

You may return using UPS, FedEx or the USPS and be sure to inform us the return tracking # for our records. If any damages occur while the package is en route to us, you are responsible for filing a claim with the carrier and following up with them directly.

Upon receipt of merchandise, we require up to 7 business days to process and inspect your return with an additional 7-14 days to process a

So I called back and asked, didnt you tell me that you were going to email me a shipping label?

And of course the answer was no. They want me to pay for shipping and they want to deduct 25% for an item they shipped out a month later which was t even the item I paid for.

They do not take care of the customer and tell you they will do one thing and don’t. We received a cash register that didn’t work.

We got a cash register that didnt work. After messing with them for a month.

We ordered a scanner it was not in the box. We didnt get a book or any pamper work. Called seven times emailed texted. They said we never called when the register didnt work.

All we want is our money back but they said there is a process.

We are a small company and cant afford to sit on something that doesnt work. Or wait on a company thats cant keep there story straight

I only gave a star because I have to...

I purchased a HP LaserJet printer from USA Office Machines. Their website showed a photo of a new printer, however when I spoke to a representative I was told the printer was fully refurbished and came with a one-year warranty.

I received the printer in a make-shift box, it was filthy, did not function properly, and had missing parts. The printer was misrepresented both on their website and by the representative.

The printer was filthy with food crumbs, coffee stains, dirt, grim, toner smudges and toner dust. The right side panel was ajar because it was not reassembled properly. There were missing parts, no paper tray, no catch paper flap, no USB cable, no software & documentation, which was said to be included.

After having to clean the printer, I ran a test page only to find it did not print properly.

The prints were faint with ghosted type and images.

I contacted USA Office Machines and told them I was displeased with printer and that I should not have to pay a 20% restocking fee since the printer was not as described.

I received an email saying they would give me an exchange, but I would first have to send them photos.

I did not want an exchange, I had lost all faith in USA Office Machines and I should not have to accept an exchange when they should have delivered fully refurbished printer.

I requested they pick up their printer and issue a refund. They refused and I am now having to depute the purchase with my credit card company.

I emailed them saying I would be disputing the charge.

I received a scare tactic email stating that they win 98% of all disputes. This behavior makes me think they have had lots of disputes from dissatisfied customers, and ripping people off is how they conduct business.
