Quote is not accurate
We got a proposal to move a 3500 lb marble table and they had the measurements the weight and Images. When they arrived they doubled the price.

We were Quoted $3700, they overcharged everything. We ended up paying g $6400, then only took post office money orders.
They new what they were doing uping the price for everything. The driver took a video of everything. His boss said that's to much space yoj have to Charge us $6400 or we leave your stuff. We had to move the sameday.
So much stress. Do not use this Company's They are a Rip Off We moved 6 times befor and never bedn Riped Off This Much.
Plus our 59" TV is Broken havd to buy another one. Doesn't any one care a boutique people on fixed income I guess not

They are currently holding my entire household of goods hostage and refusing to communicate or give date for delivery!
Total and complete lack of honesty, integrity and follow basic rules of service. They are rude, lie to me every single time I speak with them.
Tell me I have no choice but to wait for them to deliver, they refuse to even give me an estimated time. Oh, and are charging me 4k more than originally quoted.

I booked a scheduled move through a third party company(Shiply) who connected me with a company(US Safe Moving, LLC) based in Las Vegas, NV to move from Reno, NV to Roselle, NJ. They gave me a quote for $2523.23 and the broker,(Melissa from Eagle Moving Group Inc) informed me about how drivers overcharge customers if the inventory list isnt correct and thats EXACTLY what they did! I paid a deposit of $916.46 to the broker and my scheduled pickup was for 6/24/23 between the hours of 2pm - 6pm. I was concerned that the inventory list I compiled with the broker was inaccurate because there were still items that I had to add to the list, so I logged into the website from the email link I was sent with the contract and I added more items to the inventory list. Unbeknownst to me,(and more than likely to every other customer) once the contract is signed you will no longer have access to view it through the hyperlink provided in the confirmation email.
This is how they scam you if you make adjustments to your inventory list online without screenshots or saving a copy for yourself.
On 6/24/23 the driver(Adolfo) called to tell me that he wouldnt be there until about 8:30-9pm, so he asked if it was okay if they came in the morning, and I agreed. Given the fact that the movers(US SAFE MOVING, LLC) arrived a day late, I had several boxes out on my porch ready for them once they got there. The driver showed me a copy of the initial inventory list, which did not reflect the updates I made to it through the email link I received from the broker.
When I told the driver, he told me not to worry about the inventory list since the price of the move was based more on cubic square feet and not individual pieces. So, the driver(Adolfo) and his coworker(Lalo) started to load the boxes I had on the porch onto the truck. After loading several boxes on the truck the driver then comes to tell me that I am over the limit of pieces and cubic square feet that was listed on the inventory list, and as a result, he had to charge me an additional $463.50 to load anything else.
Whats worse is, the driver FORGOT TO LOAD the primary items that were on the original inventory list, like MY QUEEN SIZE MATTRESS in my master bedroom, MY DAUGHTERS BED, MATTRESS, AND DRESSERS, and MY DAUGHTERS BARBIE DREAM HOUSE AND TOY KITCHEN SET!!! I asked the driver, How and the *** are you going to charge me $463 extra to load items that were ON THE ORIGINAL INVENTORY LIST TO START WITH?!?!. This scam artist had the nerve to tell me that he could load those items for me, but it would be an additional charge on top of the extra $463.50 that he just charged me.
I tried to contact the broker and the company I initially spoke with(Melissa from Eagle Moving Group Inc), and suddenly I couldnt get in contact with anyone. I only had until July 1st to have all my stuff out, so I was forced to let them take whatever furniture they had loaded on the truck and place the items that were left behind(mainly MY QUEENSIZE MATTRESS) in storage until I could hire another company.style="background-color:
I spoke with a representative from US SAFE MOVING(Perla), and explained to her my dilemma and she said that I should speak to customer service to see if they could do anything for me, which they NEVER did. By the time another driver was able to pick up my stuff to deliver, I was told by THIS driver that my street was too small for the size truck they had my furniture on, so they would be arriving a day late. I got a call from a guy with a Russian accent on the day they were supposed to arrive (7/28/23), telling me that I had to pay an extra $500 to get my furniture out of his warehouse, and threatened me saying that if I didnt pick up my furniture by the end of the day, he would put my furniture out on the street! style="background-c
After calling the other driver, he told me not to worry about what the guy from the warehouse said, and that he would be dropping off my furniture. He tried to convince me to pay him extra for renting a truck to get my furniture out of storage, but I told him I only had the amount on the contract and he agreed. However, there was only him ALONE to unload all my furniture and several of my items were BROKEN and DESTROYED COMPLETELY! My wifes vanity dresser was completely assembled when it was loaded, and once it arrived it appeared someone tried to disassemble it and got frustrated and just ripped the screws right out of its foundation.
I called the company representative(Perla) about the destroyed furniture and she gave me an email address to submit a claim. I submitted the email for the claim and havent even received a courtesy call, or follow up email about my claim, their promises to see what they could do about their scammer of a driver that costed me an extra $463.50, or the fact that they forgot to load essential items listed on my original inventory list. No response AT ALL!
