US Mattress - We have needed to return mattress and no one has called back nor can we...

The bed unfortunately has coils or hard spots that hurt when sleeping. We have been trying to reach someone for months regarding this via their provided numbers, contact information and even social media.

We have to date not received a call back or response. In this time the bed has also big indentations, making the sleep even worse.

My wife has a medical condition and needs the most sleep as possible. We are looking for a refund of this bed as soon as possible.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund. I reached out to PayPal re my request for a refund. The rep from us-mattress.com agreed to a full refund with proof of donation.

I was a memory foam mattress user and searched for a cooler alternative online. I contacted JoyBed/us-mattress.com re the JoyBed mattress, which was advertised as being all-natural and comprised of wool and cotton (supposedly a cooler night's sleep).
The sales team all raved about the JoyBed and told me that it would be as supportive as memory foam.
The mattress-in-a-box was delivered, but it was extremely uncomfortable due to the fact that it had bulging coils (nothing like memory foam).
I wish the salespeople had simply told me the truth - that JoyBeds don't offer support - that a coil-style mattress will never compare to the firm, consistent support of a memory foam mattress.
Update:
All's well that ends well but the whole process was annoying.
us-mattresss.com will allow a dissatisfied customer to obtain a refund if the mattress is donated (with proof of donation).

This clause is no small feat because charities refuse mattresses and bedding as donations due to the pandemic. Goodwill, Salvation Army, Cancer Society, etc.

refuse these items on their websites as well as in response to emails asking if they will accept a new mattress noting that those items are considered a health & safety risk.
We managed to donate the mattress despite charitable organizations' unacceptance (via donating other furniture along with the mattress) and obtained the donation receipt, which was submitted to us-mattress.com and they provided a full refund in March 2023.
Notable: us-mattress.com's preferred alternatives include providing a topper for the uncomfortable coil-style JoyBed, allowing the customer to buy another mattress from their vast inventory, or having the JoyBed replaced with another JoyBed.

Also noted in the JoyBed return policy:
The customer is charged a $139 "re-stocking" fee (even after donating the JoyBed to charity and obtaining a donation receipt).
us-mattress.com will not provide a return shipping label for the mattress. I was only provided a full refund because the sales team members encouraged me to buy a JoyBed and told me it would be as supportive as memory foam (iow, they were untruthful) - I wouldn't have purchased a JoyBed if any of them had been honest re the major differences between a JoyBed mattress and a memory foam mattress.

Rarely post positive on here, but these guys amazed me after several terrible experiences with Art Van and Gardner White. I have back problems and finding a bed that I can sleep on and not wake up in horrible pain has been very difficult.

US-Mattress worked with me over several conversations and I was able to get a new Stearns and Foster mattress and a power base. The combination of the two has really helped with my back problems immensely.

As a bonus, our order arrived almost a week sooner than what our salesman told us to expect! Could not be happier with US-Mattress!

RAN BY MANICS - YOU GOT TO READ THIS

THE GUY NAME PATRICK JOHNSON WAS STEALING FROM MY FRIEND. SO HE CONFRONTED HIM , THAN HE FIRED HIM.

HE WENT ON TO FIND ANOTHER JOB. FOR ALMOST 2 YEARS HE HAS BEEN HARASSING HIM AT HIS OTHER JOB. SENDING FRIENDS & FAMILY IN TO MAKE COMPLAINTS & TRYING TO GET HIM FIRED. HE TOLD THE OWNERS THEY BLEW HIM OFF.

THEY JUST WON'T THIS SINGLE DAD WITH A 4 YR OLD LIVE. HE IS 45 YEARS OLD. WANTS TO BE LEFT ALONE.

I WOULDN'T GIVE THEM YOUR INFORMATION , IT COULD MEAN A VERY BIG PROBLEM FOR YOU. SCARY A VERY CONCERNED FRIEND

My furniture order was slow to be processed, they delayed fulfillment via an email -by an additional 3 weeks. They were extremely slow to re credit back to my account.....I will not order from them again.

Regained my money but had to call everyday, customer rep said they could only request a refund from a supervisor, many notes left on her desk before she took action on a cancelled order, like they were doing me a special favor. I felt an online company with a strong internet presence would be able to handle a cancelled order, without it being a big deal.

Mis Represented their products and services

U.S. Mattress Company de-frauded us in the sale and services of their product, in this case a mattress, that was hailed once sold to us, we would have the option of exchange if not satisfied within one year of purchase .

They lied, and never pointed out the statement on thier bill, although I do not believe that it was at time of purchase. This purchase cost almost 2 thousand dollars and is totally useless for me wife and I as we both suffere from extreme back and hip problems and this mattress kills us with pain. Today we tried to make that hailed exchange and of course they refused to do so, they instead wish us to purchase yet another one of their lowest line products, which I did not also know at time of purchase.

We would not and cannot reccommend U.S. Mattress Company to anytone who is interested in a mattress, go somewhere else, do yourself that favor!

We are two seniors that have very limited money 2,000.00 of which was wasted entirely with U.S.

Mattress Company.

We now are forced to sleep in chairs and the floor nitelyas this garbage from U.S. Mattress is useless for us.

We had a 120 day mattress replacement deal with US Mattress Company. After 40 days of trying to sleep on a Perfect Sleeper Signature II Euro PT and my husband hurting so bad he had moved to our guest room, I called US Mattress who helped me chose another replacement mattress for the Serta (must be defective as sags badly from the start of receiving it), so US Mattress has been very nice so far and are sending out a different brand mattress soon without a problem.

The time limit had probably went over for a return, But if the tags are on your mattress as it came..,you can take a photo of the tags and call the manufacturer of the mattress brand.

Most mattresses have a 10 year warranty and the mattress companies will work with you I feel positive. Good Luck with contacting the manufacturer.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us-mattress.com. I just received the JoyBed mattress that I ordered from them and I'm stunned at how uncomfortable this mattress is!

I spoke to a few (5) salespeople pre-purchase and all told me that the JoyBed has the firm support of a memory foam mattress - not even close! Whether us-mattress.com is willing to assist with selling me another mattress is irrelevant. I just wish that the pre-sales people hadn't said that the JoyBed would have the firm support of a memory foam mattress. This thing isn't supportive - it's lumpy and I can feel each and every coil, jabbing me.

It is literally causing back pain! They offer a 120-day trial and guarantee but they have a $139 restocking fee if one opts to return a JoyBed (and opt out of spending more on something else).

On, 12/27 I purchase a matress from this company online. According to the company, for an additional $69, they offered next day express delivery.

I agreed to pay the additional $69. On 12/28, I called the company and they stated that the delivery will be made on 12/29. I questioned the one day express delivery. Company representative which appear to be the same guy, stated that it took 24 hours and that I will get my delivery on 12/29.

I got a delivery call that my merchandise will arrive between 9-1PM. After calling three times I received I was told that the delivery truck will arrive about 2:00pm. Truck arrived at 2:30. The truck driver came upstairs to my grandmother nursing home with the delivery slip for me to sign.

After signing the delivery slip, I asked him for the merchandise, he stated that it was downstairs and that is was company policy for me to come downstairs and get my own matress. I got upset and called the company. The representative stated that there were no managers available for me to speak to and to leave a message. Have not received a call yet.

Matress was left in an area where it obstruted senior citizens from passing. According to the representative of U.S.

Matress.com, they guarantee next day delivery but delivering inside the apartment was not a guarantee which I was not aware of. So if my 89 years old grandmother was to be alone in her apartment she will have to have come downstairs and drag her matress into her 6th Floor apartment building.

Charged me for a mattress I didn't recieve

Save yourself a lot of hassle and expense, don't order from this company. They have the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

I ordered a mattress that was supposed to be in stock and available for next day delivery. After they charged my credit card, I received no order confirmation and I was unable to access their online order tracking system. Their phone number wasn't even active. Three weeks after ordering I received an email saying they shipped my mattress to the wrong state.

They claimed I entered the wrong zip code. Apparently they made no attempt to verify that the zip code and address matched before shipped and I was unable to tell I mistyped my zip code because I got no order confirmation. They charged me $349 for an order cancellation and a return fee for a mattress I never received.

The company has either failed to deliver goods per the contract of sale or this an attempt at fraud!

U-S Mattress.com Warranty Scam

WARNING: Do not buy from these people. We purchased a King Sealy Posturepedic 60th Anniversary Edition for $1169.00 on Dec 28, 2010. After using this mattress for only a few nights we realized that it too has serious problems with body cavities. After a phone call to their sales dept we were told that this is a normal condition and not to worry. This IS NOT NORMAL, we are in our late 60's and this is the first time in all our lives we have had these problems with a mattress, such as back pains after sleeping on this mattress. After much discussion with the sales person I was told that the only remedy was a less padded model and that the price would be approx $400 less. Since they have a 100 night warranty I thought fine ship it to us, however she said they would not reimburse us the difference in cost. WTF?? PLEASE USE OUR BAD EXPERIENCE TO YOUR ADVANTAGE, STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE. Do not become a "I TOLD YOU SO" victim.

Per Wikipedia:

US Mattress has among the highest complaints in the industry, as it doesn't really permit refunds. As they rely on 3rd party delivery people, the quality & timeliness of the delivery can vary greatly.

NEVER NEVER NEVER buy a mattress from a online web site. Buy from a local store where you can sit,lay,jump and test it before you buy it. Just saying.

Defective mattress

Purchased mattress from US Mattress. Called a Sealy signature Kirkhaven firm.

Paid almost $1000.00. Here it is a year later and the mattress is so uncomfortable I can't hardly sleep. No support in mattress. It is like sleeping in a bowl.

Severly effects my back. Sent in photos but denied the claim. Please do not purchase from this Company. Will not help customers after the sale.

This mattress carries a 10 year warranty but will not honor it.

When you lay on mattress it sinks in over 8". Photos don't show this until you lay on it.

Seriously, what a laugh.

Have you contacted a local store and asked for your regional rep's name and number? They may help you out. Any store that sells this brand should be able to help you - or call the manufacturer directly and ask them to send a rep out to look at the mattress.

US Mattress & Simmons sell defective products

BUYER BEWARE DO NOT BE DUPED BY PURCHASING ANYTHING FROM US MATTRESSES THEY DON'T STAND BEHIND THEIR CONSUMER TRANSACTIONS

THEY SIMPLY PUSH YOU OFF ONTO THE MANUFACTURER AND INDICATE WE DON'T GIVE REFUNDS

WELL ISN'T THAT JUST NICE - WE'VE HAD 2 REPLACEMENTS MATTRESES THAT HAD THE SAME DEFECT AS THEY ONE THEY CAME TO REPLACE - THESE WERE REFUSED AND THEY ARE ATTEMPTING TO BRING YET ANOTHER REPLACEMENT RATHER THAN PROVIDING THE REQUESTED REFUND

MY OPINION THIS IS QUITE THE INTERNET SCAM BUY SOMETHING WITH NO REFUND CAPABILITY ?
