The Home Depot used to care about their customers and the work they put out. Now, Im not so sure. The Home Depot in Westerly RI was taking care of installing my tile and hardwood flooring. They outsource to US Installations Group in Attleboro, MA. When they came to install my hardwood flooring the technician installed it incorrectly. They never took off the old trim, put hardwood flooring down and then put white scuffed molding and wood molding down. It looked horrible and very inconsistent around the room. Pictures to follow. I called US Installations Group and the project coordinator said it was installed correctly. The technician said it was installed correctly. I sent pictures to contractors, friends and family and EVERYONE agreed that the floors looked sloppy and put in incorrectly. They couldnt believe thats a company would install something like that for one of their customers. Where are the values and morals you learned when you were 5 years old? When a customer is not satisfied with the product they had installed because it was not put in correctly, then listen to them. Customers are important for business. When did companies start arguing with the customer? It is very unprofessional. Home Depot and US Installation group need to listen to their costumers instead of being so narcissistic that they have to always be right. The end result: NOT FINISHED. Home Depot and US Installations Group did not coordinate the schedule properly with the customer. As a business, your customer is always number one and you listen to them. If they are not satisfied with the service, make them satisfied. Its called customer service. I am completely disappointed in Home Depot and US Installations Group.
