Rude customer service again by same weekend crew.

Two Cold-blooded and rude Asian-decent young girls working on the weekends who probably hate being there. They are always cold and borderline rude to customers.

I worked a few years during the late 70s and early 80s in the restaurant business and customer service was pounded into your head and taught to us. And someone was in-charge that always evaluated our customer service skills on a daily and weekly basis until we met the high standards demanded in the business line.

As a retired LTC, I appreciate the WEEK DAY manager whos a cut-above the rest that Ive encountered at Hardees over the past 27 years. Shes trained her week day staff to ALWAYS be courteous and respectful even when the customer may be wrong or inaccurate in whatever situation that occurred.

I personally go to the Hardees on Allisonville Rd (and 116th St) location in Fishers Indiana at least 3-4 times per week for my 3-person family.

We love big burgers, onion rings, and milk shakes.

There are three entrances into this location and depending on the direction that I come from, I sometimes drive straight to the order pickup window without driving all around the building especially if there is no one else there at the outside order site.

Anyway, your weekend crew is not trained to the high customer service standards expected of a persons working directly with customers.

Your Day Manager is golden in my eyes but that weekend Manager must not be evaluating her weekend crews performance at all.

Now I see why some less controlled customers get irritated and angry with people like them. They are a danger to themselves without even knowing it plus they lose customers who have gone there for a short time or for years and years, as in my case!!

Maybe they hate being there because of racist people like you, because of rude people like you who refer to them as girls when they are grown women. How exactly were these GROWN WOMEN rude?

3 suspensions back to back.

I believe I keep getting suspended for stupid things. I'm reviewing your guidelines and am trying hard not to post or say anything to get my account on better relations with whoever is monitoring my Facebook page.

I have made mistakes in the past on guidelines but I feel I am being targeted and cannot seem to be able to say or post anything without being suspended. Many others feel the same way.

I've mellowed out a lot and do not wish to be booted off Facebook as I like. Many it.

Poor Customer Service

I decided to use Public Storage out of haste, because I was relocating and needed a storage unit ASAP! Well during my initial conversation with the CSR, she stated the company had a special for 1 penny the first month.

Immediately I decided to go with the special and then the other fees came in to play. By the time all was completed I ended up paying $39.95. As time passed I would see one of the attendents on a regular bases and even spoke the greeting of the day. Well this one particular day I walked in the office as asked for the number to their corporate office, well the first attendent stated he didn't know of a number and the second got an attitude.

Once i noticed the attitude, I asked for the number to corporate again and the CSR w/an attitude told me to put the number on the flyer in my phone. I said excuse me and she stated the same exact thing to me. At point I asked one last time and then she decided to write it down.

As bad as folks in GA need jobs, this company employs people who could care less about the concerns of those who keep them employed. What a joke of an organization.

Bad Quality Patches embroideredpatches.net

I decided to shop around and try a new patch company since mine was not the cheapest I figured I would try a cheaper one to duplicate mine since these are after all patches for our unit. I shopped for days between companies and went with the cheapest price I could find at www.embroideredpatches.net

Well it took forever to get my patches about 4 1/2 weeks and the quality was horrible letters were not even the design didn't even closely match the original ones we had gotten from the old supplier and to top it off the stitching was fraying and the back had a bunch of loose threads just hanging there.

I was so disappointed I called them several times and got the run around on how they made them according to the design. I told them I wasn't satisfied and they had a 100% satisfaction guarantee that's BS. I wanted my money back they said I have the patches and there custom made the way I ordered them and I could place a new order. Now I am stuck with a bunch of junk patches I cannot use.

I contacted my CC company and have a charge back in process. I would stay very clear of this company seems like there just selling literally CHEAP patches made in a sweat shop.

Join the Army= HOW?

My son has been looking to join the Army, granted he is overweight and can not until he looses a few pounds. I was searching for statistics regarding joining the Army and found that Virginia 67% are rejected due to one of 3 reasons:

1. not having a High scchool degree, which my son has.

2. Having a criminal record, which my son does not have

3. being overweight which of course my son is.

it is sad that even though we need people to serve that the critieria to join is preventing many possibly ideal candidates from joining, some of our brightest historians did not complete high school.

If he were an ideal candidate, he'd be in uniform. As it stands, he's a potentially ideal candidate wrapped in too much cake.

@ Di and 21 years in the army:

I appreciate your reply. I understand the education and criminal record aspect of it. but the weight is something with proper guidance and possibly a pre-enrollment course to get them on the right track could possibly help those who need a little incentive. My son has had some hard knocks which have set him back loosing his father in 2003 and his grandfather in 2004 was enough of a trauma to cause him to suffer depression and gain the weight. He is loosing it but what took years to gain will take as long to loose..and that comes with time and discipline. He is serious about joining and will not allow his weight to stand between him and his goal, but is discouraging to say the least. A strong Male role model in his teen life would have been helpful but he has no one left as far as Male influences in our family. He is a bright, intelligent young man it is a shame that there is not some sort of big brother type of group around to help keep service families following the path as His grandfather was in the Marines and then transfered to the AF.. Had he not died at age 71, possibly when my son was finishing highschool he would have been able to tell him what ws important to enlist and possibly the weight may never have been an issue.

@ Al: after reading my post, i guess now you know I am not the MAN with the FAT son.. and shame on people like you for giving reason to people like my son a reason to feel more discourage about who he would go to war to defend...truth doesnt hurt ignorance does..

I see that the guy with the fat kid hasn't responded back. Truth hurts eh?? :cry

Dagosta,

The Army has no choice but to maintain a high standard for selection. Our's in not just a job you can join and then quit when you want. Once your in....your in. To put you back "out" takes up a lot of time and recourses. As hard as we screen applicatants for entry, we protect them from unjust dismissal (once their in) even more so. We MUST have individuals that have a history of having a propensity to see things through to the end, as well as individuals who don't have a propensity for causing trouble. The Army is AWESOME...but it's not easy. Not by any stretch of the imagination. We MUST make our screening criteria strict. Taxpayer dollars will be wasted if we don't. Honestly, I can tell you that when it comes to being good stewards of the taxpayers dollars, belive it or not, we are very, very careful. We have all kinds of Fraud, Waste and Abuse programs...and we prosecute the *** out of violators. No one is saying that high school dropouts (GED or otherwise) are bad people. By the way, on that subject, 12 credit hours from an Acredited College will is exactly like a high school diploma as far as the army is concerned. So, if a Dropout were to go to college for a semester and get 12 credit hours (regardless of grades...yes, they could be all D's - no kidding) that would be just like graduating from High School.

Not to sound nasty, but the Army isn't looking for Historians....we need soldiers.

Guest

If the Army lowers one standard, which one will be next? Just like any other job, there are certain requirements to be hired and meeting the height/weight requirements happens to be one for the Army.

If your son is not disciplined enough to lose a few pounds, how can it be known that he will have the discipline to perform his duties in the Army ?

Yes the Army needs folks, but they are not so desperate that the standards need to be lowered more than they had. BTW - I spent over 20 years in the Army as a Non-Commissioned Officer - I know the deal.

THANKSGIVING DAY REFLECTIONS - SERVICE IN THE UNITED STATES MILITARY

I enlisted in the United States Army and was sworn in in January of 1954.

I am classified as a Korean War Veteran, and entitled to Veteran Benefits as provided for by Public Law 550.

Because at that time, there was only a Truce in effect during the Korean War, all benefits were still available for a period of time beyond the Truce.

In 1954 I had my lst Thanksgiving Dinner away from my Parents home.

My Mother was a fantastic Cook (and a fantastic Mother) and since Thanksgiving Dinner was the 2nd biggest event in our household, the Christmas Dinner being the lst, the Army Cooks of the 159th Engineer Group in Ft.Leonard Missouri, didn't stand a chance up against my Mother and Dad.

Although I enlisted for 3 years, because of an Early Release, I only had 2 Thanksgivings in the Army.

As I recall, they were both very good.

The 2nd Thanksgiving Dinner in the Army, was served and eaten, in the Mess Hall of Company B, of the 83rd Engineers (Construction) in Bussac,France.

My understanding was, and is, that Landes de Bussac, is translated in English to the Land of the Swamps.

I never noticed or was aware of any swamps.

The City of Bordeaux was about 40 miles away.

The most Interesting Christmas Dinner I had while serving in the Army, out of 2, was actually on a Military Transport Ship named the S.S.Langfit.

For some reason, I had been given a Temporary Assignment of being in charge of the Servers of the food, on one side of the Ship.

Such a Position of Responsibility guaranteed that I ate very well.

The trip across the Atlantic, in less than 1st Class Quarters, initiated on Dec 23rd, and ended in Bremerhaven,Germany, 11 long days and nights later, among other things, served to introduce me, for the 1st time, to the Spanish Language, in that the Crew Members of the Ship sang Christmas Carols to us in Spanish.

I guess the Jews,Witnesses,Agnostics, and non-Christians, suffered, by being left out. But maybe not, as I recall the Singing.

There were 3,500 troops on that Ship.

I can not believe Steerage Class enroute to Ellis Island in the late 19th and early 20th Centuries, could have been any worse.

Since being in France in 1955 and 1956, was only 9 years after WWII ended, there were still a lot of Regular Army Personnel still serving in the Service.

My First Sergeant, who I served with as his Company Clerk (the Guy who could type) was named Stanley Mika, the last name being shortened from a longer Polish Name.

He had served in the 2nd Armored Division, of Patton's 3rd Army, as a Forward Observer, you didn't have to be an Officer then, and had seen a lot of Front Line Combat Duty.

Among the many Wise Bits of Information he shared with me, was a conversation we had about serving in Combat.

I commented to him that I didn't know if I would be a Coward or a Hero, and he replied that he thought I would do all right. Whatever that meant. I guess he thought I wouldn't run.

In any event, one of the things that he said, that I believed, and obviously have never forgotten, is that when you are in Combat fighting, you don't think of your Mother or Father, you don't think of your Country, or your Flag, that what you think about is saving the *** of you and your Buddies.

You fight to survive, and live another day.

As I think back on that Conversation, it brings a kind of peace to me, because as I look around me, in Southern California, I see a tremendous amount of People that I don't think have any real loyalty of affection and dedication to the United States of America.

I think my observations can be verified and validated by the lack of Volunteers in the United States Military that don't reflect our New Arrivals, even though they may have become Citizens, I think primarily for the benefits available to only American Citizenship.

The Faces look just like those in WWII, the vast majority being White, with less Blacks and Hispanics. but at least they are there.

Forunately, in the time of War, such as one with China, or Russia, or both, the Draft would be activated, and just as the vast majority of those who served in WWII, Korea, and Vietnam, were drafted, they had to fight to save their own ***, as my First Sargent said, which means to me, that all those People I observe around me in Southern California, will have to Serve and Fight, whether they want to, or like to, or not.

I guess my feelings are a part of my Thanksgiving Dad.
