My luggage didn't make the connection but I was assured that it was on the next flight from Chicago to Phili today. It has been on the ground since 2:31 p.m. this afternoon but they wanted to deliver it at 1:00 a.m. I have called 4 times, getting apologies but no solutions. They don't know where it is now or have any idea when it can be delivered. I understand when a bag is delayed but having it on the ground for hours before they even assign a driver (3.5 hours) then want another 6 hours for a delivery which is 40 minutes away is crazy!
WORST RESORT EVER
Just got back from Aruba stayed at the Tamarijn All Inclusive room # 1406 Not sure how USAirways Vacations rates the resorts but this resort was the worst one I've every stayed in. Very old and outdated, employees were rude, bath room smelled of urine with mold on tiles around tub, bar didn't open until 1100. The thing that hooked me was that the room was ocean front but you couldn't sit on your balcony because the wall unit air conditioner blew hot air on you and it leaked all over the floor inside the room. (Air conditioner didn't cool room) We requested a king, first floor and got 2 doubles, 2nd floor, when we asked about it we were told nothing could be done. Why they have a little table and chair set in the room is dumb because the room is so small that you can't even pull out the chair to sit at. No coffee maker in room, you have to walk down to coffee maker near the buffet and half the lighting fixtures did not work outside. No internet service anywhere on the resort unless you paid for it $15.00 a day (US) Their (fun maker) sucked, didn't do 3/4 of the entertainment that was listed to do, bring your own music for around the pool in the day because he was a hit or miss if he showed up. When we received our bill the resort tried to add a $1.00 a day donation to the YMCA without asking us, along with safe $2.00 a day charge. The food was good and the room facing the ocean was great but other than that I would not stay or recommend this resort to anyone. Very disappointed in US Airways Vacations.
