Resolved: Urban Forest Pro Ripped Us Off!

Update by user Dec 18, 2015

Urban Forest Pro came back and planted trees and resolved this issue. We couldn't be happier with how this was handled! Thank you, Urban Forest Pro.

We had 60 trees planted by Urban Forest Pro last year and we're having to spend the Spring digging out 18 dead trees and replace them. At $100/tree, that's $1,800 wasted, and that doesn't include what it's costing to buy more trees. When we dug them out, we discovered that their main roots had been completely cut off, so IT'S NO WONDER THEY ALL DIED! How did they expect trees to get their roots out when there weren't any roots? They really put one over on us, because the trees were perfectly shaped and obviously came from a Christmas tree farm. We were told there was a 1-yr. guarantee until they started to die five months after they were planted. The pro who came here and looked at them after we repeatedly called said they had been watered too much, then they hadn't had enough water, then the soil was deficient....every excuse he could think of to place blame on us. There had been no effort to plant them straight either, and they were all planted very crooked. Wished we had "overs," because this company is a loser. After they get their money, consider yourself history, because they don't return phone calls or stand behind what they told you. If you go with them, make sure to get the guarantee in writing, or you'll regret it.
