University of Wisconsin-Stout Menomonie
I am a contractor from the Chicago Samba www.chicagosamba.com, and I want you to know that University of Wisconsin-Stout DO NOT HONOR their contracts. UW-Stout canceled a music show on the day of the event, while the musicians and dancers were half to Menomonie from Chicago, and the University refuse to pay for the cancellation, expenses with transportation, or even re-schedule the performance.
Since Chicago Samba is based in Illinois it is very difficult to have a law suit against them in Wisconsin...
BE VERY CAREFUL IF YOU HAVE A CONTRACT WITH THIS UNIVERSITY. The contact people responsible for the university's contract were: Camila Checa and Emily Ascher.
University of Wisconsin Milwaukee
As a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, I have difficulty expressing in words the extreme disappointment in the education I received there.
The University of Wisconsin Milwaukee is an awful, cold place with a very poor academic reputation. The professors are ivy-league rejects that could not get a job in the ivy-league, so they got hired at a sub-standard state school instead.
Many of these professors have axes to grind, and they take it out on the students. The majority of them LOVE passing out poor grades to the students, no matter how hard they work. The chemistry department is renowned for this. It is UWM's way of entrapping the students into the UW system so that they will never be able to escape.
Furthermore, the Milwaukee police department has been actually ENCOURAGING the residents in the area to report the students of UWM to the police if they even so much as have a party.
I feel sorry for anyone who's only option for college is UWM. It is an awful place and now it seems that a degree is not all you'll be getting if you go there, especially if you "get out of line".
See for yourself if you ask to many questions, what the professors there will have done to you on YouTube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S-KFA1U8iOw
Disgusting. Welcome to Police State University. This is just a sickening scam college and I don't see any reason to say anything more. Decide for yourself.
FED EX 0 for 4 packages
Apparently there were many "acts of god" last week in memphis with thunderstorms between Tuesday and Saturday. Of the 3 packages i mailed on Monday, March 31, two showed up on Wednesday and one on Thursday.
Mailing back Friday to Saturday...received packages on Monday. I was given every excuse from bad weather to beyond our control etc. They asked me to save the packaging from thawed out biological samples that were all over the inside of the cooler.
I finally told them that i was mailing a complaint to the CEO of the company and SENDING UPS because i knew that it would get there overnight.
Maybe that will get some results.

Wow this post is hilarious. True it is hard to get a job with a FELONY criminal record, but as someone who works in human resources, I see candidates with petty misdemeanors all of the time, and they have no problem finding jobs.
As long as you do not have any felonies and have a decent personality, I don't see any issues finding employment. Just remember what a "criminal" really is, folks. The United States has normal human beings who work cushy office jobs, they CREATE LAWS for a living, their job title is "lawmaker". They make these BS laws that we the people are required to follow, and if we don't follow them, we are "breaking the law" and can be given a "criminal record".
Some laws are in place for our protections, but many are just BS laws, example being, "disorderly conduct". So very vague so that the real criminals behind the badges can arrest you for just about ANYTHING and just throw it under "disorderly conduct".
Wow. Your negative experience at UWM must be the only one.
I've gone to UWM and earned my graduate degrees there. The faculty is top-notch.
As long as you are not a criminal or have a propensity for criminal behavior, you'll be fine. I'm guessing you were on the wrong side of the law.
I so glad that parents didn't make go to a school like that when I was college age. I went to a small private school out west.
We were pretty much free to do as we wanted. Yea, parties were part of the college experience. I had a full college experience. I wouldn't want to go to UWM because I have heard from others that the police are targeting students there.
Its hard to get a job with a criminal record, even if you have good grades. Sounds like a scam to me.
