UTMB is awful!!
- - Scheduling a speech evaluation took over a month with delays.
- - The evaluation showed she needs therapy, but no appointment until Christmas.
I tried to get an appointment for a speech evaluation for my granddaughter for over a month with no success. I was given numerous "reasons." Finally after a month and a half, they called me and gave me an appointment for the evaluation.
They did the evaluation and said she needed the speech therapy badly. Then they tell us that they dont have an appointment. I called the office of the president and made a complaint. They did their "investigation" and called me back and told me that they can't get her in until after Christmas as they told me before the complaint.
Their apologies do not get my granddaughter the help she needs. If you have other options for healthcare, use them.
