University of La Verne College of Law: HORRIFIC MONEY DRAIN

I am a recent graduate of University of La Verne College of Law. I am here to tell you the school is the worst legal institution in the nation. Not only did they raise tuition prices 8,000 dollars within a three year period but we also lost our ABA approval. The school does NOTHING to help students find jobs. The career service department is a joke. Instead of helping they just give you some *** handouts. 95% of my class that just graduated in May is still unemployed. Its so *** that I decided to look for work outside of 40 miles around the school and they thought I went to an INTERNATIONAL LAW SCHOOL. This is due to the poor outreach. The school is not here to educate only to suck the money from students and overload them with debt for the rest of their lives. All people thinking or contemplating going here RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN. Unless you are in the top 10% you have almost no chance of getting a legal job, and if you are in the top 10% you are probably starting off at 45,000 a year (not enough to pay the interest on you loan payments let alone actually pay them down).

The law school is a waste of money, go to a real law school like whittier law, western, or anything in Los Angeles.

Yea because you graduated when tuition was nothing and gained experience when the market is good. Now tuition is outrageous the schools rep is shot and no one is hiring. It's worse for la verne grads.

I went to the Law School and ULV... and I make plenty of money.

Hummm... I wonder why that is?

Oh... by the way... graduated in 2004.
