I'm afraid I got pulled into this scam, Health Care One, also known as Universal Health Care, and lost $280 up front. My pharmacist has told me that this carrier is not honored anywhere and there is no provision for medicine discounts. This carrier told me precisely that I would have meds coverage and get substantial discount. I now cannot afford my heart medicine and blood thinner for at least a month.
Tell me how I can recoup this cost, if possible, and if I should notify my bank and tell them to stop any auto payment. Either that or I should change debit cards immediately. This company admits to auto-withdrawal for early payments.

Insurance fraud
I am unemployed lost my job due to company selling out called to get some health insurance and the guy said this is the best PPO plan we have great insurance pay 400.00 now and 300 a month great plan submitted to hospital for mammogram. then hospital called need another mammogram something suspicious.
Had another one I am ok but got a bill for both mammogram and radiologist and ultrasound plus out over 700.00 dollars I want my money back I payed out since it will take me a long time to pay hospital drawing unemployment of 238.00 a week until I find a job.
A bunch of scam artists taking advantage of people.

STEALING SOMEONES HEALTHCARE BENEFITS IS A CRIME, THE UNIVERSAL HEALTHCARE HAS NOT ONLY COMMITTED FRAUD BUT THEY DID THIS TO A HELPLESS HANDICAPPED FEMALE CONSUMER IN THE PITTSBURGH PA EREA AND THEY ARE BULLYING THIS HANDICAPPED FEMALE AS WELL, AFTER OUR OFFICE SENT OUT LETTERS TO FACILITIES IN THE PITTSBURGH PA EREA ABOUT APPROVAL OF A TRIAL IN WASHINGTON DC FOR THIS CASE.
WE LEARNED THAT TWO MEN WERE INVOLVED AND VERY WELLKNOWN BY A MOB IN INDIA THESE TWO MEN ARE A.K DESAI AND SANDIP I PATEL. THIS FEMALE HAS RECIEVED A LETTER FROM GATEWAY HEALTHPLAN TELLING HER WHY HER ASTHMA MEDICATION WAS REJECTED CLAIMING THAT UNIVERSAL HEALTHCARE HAS SENT CLAIMS THROUGH DELHI INDIA WITH THE SAME MEDICAL ID NUMBER REQUESTING SWICHES IN MEDICATION AND BENEFITS AND OTHER CLAIMS AS WELL I WORK IN THE COURTS IN WASHINGTON DC AND IM WARNING THE CEO AND HIS FRIENDS TO BACK OFF AND RETURN THE BENEFITS BACK TO THIS HANDICAPPED INDIVIDUEL OR I WILL HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO MOVE ON TO STEP THREE AND THAT WILL BE TO FILE A MEDICAL TERRORISM COMPLAINT AGAINST THE UNIVERSAL HEALTHCARE FOR THESE ACTIONS.

Don't feel alone...we got taken too. It's a PPO yet NO ONE has ever heard of it and their web site is a fake.
All it does is take you to other sites to sell you something. There is no information for providers in their network.
So disappointed but I am going to fight for our down payment back. F'n shysters.
Chris Stevenson (above) comment, needs an answer quick because I have another $292 taken from my account and I'd changed debit cards way before they made the withdrawal. I'm thinking that they used my bank info and posed as me with a lost card or something.
I'll find fast. This has nearly broke me--and I'm terminally ill.
FBI is my next alternative.
