I have purchased a mattress at Macys.com to get the regular miles and extra bonus miles on November 14, 2023. I have contacted Mileage Plus Shopping over 10x since November 24 and I never got a reply or the miles credited to my account.
Preferred solution: miles credited

I AM UNABLE TO PURCHASE A NORDSTROM CREDITCARD WITH MY MILES. EACH TIME I TRY TO PURCHASE ON LINE I AM TOLS THAT TRANSACTION IS DECLINED.
PLEASE HELP AND TELL ME WHY MY PURCHASE IS BEING DECLINED.

Attempted to purchase a Walmart e-card on July 13th for $35. It was declined.
I didn't realize they sent me an email for a refund of only $25 would be coming until I noticed in my checking account that they had taken out another 25. I emailed customer service since I can't find a phone number anywhere and told them that they owed me the 35 + 25.
Since then the 25 has been put back in my account but they still owe me the correct amount which I was debited for the card and didn't get it for 35. I'm glad I didn't purchase a bigger card because I've been out of my money for almost 2 weeks

Horrible don't use
I have had another experience with this shopping portal in which I was supposed to receive a large amount of miles- over 1300. They never showed up and I had to contact them.
I got an email that they verified that I did indeed make the purchase like I said. Then I got another email saying that the merchant refused to honor the miles. That I did something wrong when I went through the steps to make my purchase. As if.
I use all the shopping portals on an almost weekly basis. So if I can correctly make a purchase of $20 and get credited for those miles hundreds of times , why would I mess up a $700 purchase?
This has happened multiple times with this shopping portal every time I have a large purchase and they find a reason to deny awarding the miles. There was also a bonus promotion at the time that this purchase would have qualified me for and which they are also not giving me.

Why is United refusing to contact me or send my purchased product? You were quick to remove the mileage points from my account; but refuse to send? I'm sure the newspaper will be able to find who's in charge: for me to contact. There is NO EXCUSE FOR THIS NEGLIGENCE!

Missing mileage credits from non-airline partners (bestbuy.com and another wine company).

I did 2 purchases on line separately and never get the PROMISE mileage reward points and the bonus points toward my UAL membership frequent flyer inspite of repeated follow ups through calls, emails and completing the online forms. It has been over 3 months since I made the online purchase (through United Plus Shopping Nobody, then selected Best Buy). Nobody can assist from UAL Mileage Department. They are helpless. Very frustrating. I guess UAL and the vendor will only give you the reward points on smaller amount of transactions.
One time, I was asked to call Cartera Commerce (who I guess manage the reward points) to follow up the missing points. Nobody is picking up the phone, you have to ask for a return call. And nobody from Cartera Commerce will call you back. Another helpless provider.
My online purchase which I made way back Nov 2017 - I never get the reward and the bonus points inspite of repeated phone calls to UAL and to the online vendor.
If this promotion is a scam then why a prestigious airline company partner with an online vendor (like bestbuy.com) who can not fulfill what has been promised to the online shoppers.

I signed up for The Motley Fool via the United MP Shopping website and at that time, there was a promotion that offered bonus miles on a new paid subscription regardless of the monthly or annual billing options. One month later, they changed the terms to only offer bonus miles to the annual billing option.
When I contacted them, requesting the bonus miles be credited to my account, they said sometimes information on the website was not up to date. To me it was a very irresponsible answer. They must honor the offer as indicated in terms and conditions for the old promotion simply because that was their fault for not timely updating their website, not the customer's fault.
I would never use MP Shopping again. I've started seeing their bonus miles offers as scams.

Mostly a waste of time
Most of the vendors on Mileage plus shopping do not bother to EVER send over your purchase information meaning that 8 weeks later when you let United Mileage shopping know of your missing miles they now ask for a confirmation email with all the information from the vendor, if you saved that in your email, if you did not, it is up to you to call the onlilne store you shopped at and ask them to please send you a new email of your transaction so you can prove to United shopping that you really shopped there! It has become such a waste of time and they expect the consumer to do ALL the leg work these days.
A year ago they used to check on it themselves and let you know when it was confirmed now they expect you to do everything yourself in order to get the miles.
I do not know of another shopping site where the consumer has to do all the work and they do not keep track of purchases. Pretty much a joke at this point.

At noon on February 24, 2015, I placed an order with JC Penney for a 50% off item. The sale was to expire at 5:00pm that same day.
At 3:30pm, I received an email from Mileage Plus shopping saying that I could earn 4x the number of points by placing a Penney's order by February 25th (a day after the sale had ended). When I contacted Mileage Plus about the 1 1/2 hour notice, they refused to honor my points by saying I didn't go thru their website.
I explained that 1 1/2 hours was hardly enough notice to make a shopping decision. They apparently don't care.

I purchased items at JCPenney with my United Mileage Account and it defaulted to my husband's account. I purchased the items to keep my miles (loyal customer of Continental ...and was hoping also to be of United) from EXPIRING.
My separate (two different log outs/log ins) purchases both defaulted to my husband's account. We share our flying privileges and he doesn't keep track of what's going on...now I lost 50,000 miles. I NEVER even rec'd any confirmation or tracking from United OR JCP...in fact ..neither did my husband, we cked our junk mail too. In addition JCP lost one of my orders completely.
They said there was no record of it though I had saved the trans # from the purchases. This system at MileagePlusShopping has serious glitches. When I called United Customer Service (today at 3pm, spoke to Shayan ..they said I had to call their Merchant Awards Customer Care Dept. I have called that # repeatedly and it is busy.
What a mess. I have lost my loyalty to United via losing my miles I had on Continental and the poor way they handled my account.
United Mileage Plus Shopping aka Vesdia is a SCAMMER!
I like United redemption customer service line, they are willing to find you a seat for miles, but that`s about it that I like about United Mileage Plus program. This is due to they scamming partner Vesdia, Inc, aka MileagePlus Shopping.
They do not transfer my miles to my United account though retailers confirmed the purchases, and Mileageplusshopping post them in pending status which is never changes (they started to have this behaviour in March, and now they not only keep my miles for purchases, they also did not follow with a promotion) I`ll never going to use them again and do not recommend to anyone!
They also ignore my emails (sent 13 of them, got responses twice, saying yeah, you should have gotten them, but when I asked why haven`t I, they just stopped to respond at all. Use reliable middle sites (I personally like mrrebates and mypoints) if you don`t want to be scammed and get what`s promised to you.

United sent an email & stated they couldn't find my account starting with VHK, nor phone number I posted. AS STATED PRIOR....This was ordered on an old United account.
I gave both account numbers...Old and now my married account number.
Perhaps one day someone will read all the information sent them and find the product I ordered. United was able to transfer the balance of 28 miles to my new acct but can't find it now.
