Lack of good customer service
- - The patio was installed 3 years ago and finished on time.

I hired United Corp 3 years ago to install a patio for me. They did a great job with installing the patio in a reasonable amount of time.
I am now having an issue with the walkway they installed and simply called and asked them to come out and take a look at the issue. They flat out refused to even come see what the issue is and said they are only doing new installs now. I spent over $40k with them and they can't even come out and take a look to see if it is something they can fix or not.
When they finished they said call them anytime with any issues and they would come and address the problem. I guess that does not appl herefix

Received an estimate in September, 2019 for brick work on the front of our home. The bid was $21,560.
I've seen on this site their quotes are good for 1 year so last week, we called Marvin to schedule the work. He came out and re-bid the job, this time he wants $26,300.
I asked Marvin what changed from last September to now and he gives me the following reasons:
1. material costs change. Really, we didn't pick a material.
The quote was using the same brick estimate.
2. September, 2019 quote was a fall special. Really, no where in the emails I received from them is there any mention of this being a "special" quote.
Marvin tells me he gives the specs of the job to "the office" and they come back with his quote. OK, time to call Donna in his office.
We speak and she says she will get back to me.
Shortly after, I get an email from the company owner Tony (who btw, owns the business but is in Florida mostly) telling me Marvin's quote was right and that was the best they could do. I respond with an email questioning why his September quote isn't good for 12 months as he has mentioned on this site? No reply.
In the end, I'll find someone else to do the work. My money is much better spent elsewhere.
Tony, when you read these complaints, you seem to have a habit of replying with a description of why the complaining customer is inaccurate.
I encourage you to do that here as well. Then I can provide copies of your fall quote, your quote from 2 weeks ago along with your email correspondence.
I would please me to show future customers exactly what type of business you run.
Preferred solution: Perform the work at the price you quoted.
This customer called usnup a couple of years later and wanted the same cost to do the project we tryed to keep it at the same cost but could not,there was a little increase in cost, sorry we could not help with this situation,Tony scandiffio/ceo Unitedcorp of New Jersey.

This company gives contractors a good name :) Marvin the foreman and his crew of craftsman were thorough, courteous and so hard working.
Working long hours in cold temperatures to get our projects (front steps and large area of pool and patio overlay) completed in 8 working days! Anytime Marvin was not on the job and I had a question he always answered the phone (I feel this is rare for anyone these days) I would highly recommend United Corp to anyone!

When I first reached out to Tony at Unitedcorp to schedule an appointment, Marvin showed up at the scheduled time. During the planning and discussion he knew exactly what we were looking for and answered all question and concerns. The brick work was installed when we set the date and even accommodated me by finishing up on a Saturday when I could be there. His workers are extremely professional and courteous.
I would recommend Unitedcorp for anyone who is looking for the perfect paver / hardscape work.
This is no fly by night contractor. Great Job

Worst management
- - Total cost was $38,500 for fence, sprinkler, and lawn.
- - Grass was not Kentucky Blue Grass; Marvin did not return calls; Lawn Doctor costs $2,300.
I would not recommend this company to anyone. We signed up with this company based on the reviews online to do landscaping which included Fence Install, Sprinkler System and re do the lawn in the front and back.
The total project cost us to be exact $38,500. Marvin always answered his phone while the working was in progress. We waited few weeks for the grass to grow and noticed that its all wild grass, it was suppose to be Kentucky Blue Grass. We called Marvin many times but never returned a single call.
Finally, I left a very frustrated message. Marvin and his boss showed up at our house. They kept saying that we need *** treatment done. There were other places where we got the plants installed, *** was growing there.
I was expecting little better job after nearly spending $40,000. I was shocked to see the reaction of Marvins boss, who started cursing at me and told me to go *** myself and that they will not do anything for the lawn.
WHAT KIND OF CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THAT? Finally, I contacted lawn doctor and it will cost me another $2300 to fix the lawn.

I went out there and told the customer he needed a irrigation system, and a good lawn maintance company to put fertilizer down,all sod we get is the best kentucky blue , this customer was told this at the begining when he signed up,Tony Scandiffio/ceo Unitedcorp of New Jersey.

After waiting 4 months to have our project done, we were told the work would be double the price and they weren't going to do the work. If you plan to hire this company, get it in writing.

I had a patio installed by unitedcorp of nj first i checked this company out,i talked to there supplyer pantano nursury in manalapan nj they highly reccomended tonys company to do the project,my project consist of a 1500 square ft patio with a firepit and a outdoor kichen plus a walkway to the driveway,they also installed lights in the patio,and did landscape around my home plus irrigation,they did a great job tony did not take much money down i love a company that works like that,and i will reffer them to all my freinds,they stated work 8am every day his guys worked very hard and they worked every day till the project was completed.

Very Unprofessional and a ***-Artis
- - Customer says United Corp of NJ LLC misled after paying over $70,000; they stopped responding and plan legal action, citing licensing concerns.
I hired United Corp of NJ LLC and oh what a mistake. I consider myself a savvy shopper and diligent in doing my research but I was completely misled.
I used the Home Advisor since they gave this so-called corporation a high rating boyyyy were they wrong. After spending more than $70,000 for the work – Mr. Tony went from Mr. Nice before he had the money to Mr.
Missing in Action after he had cashed the check. He doesn’t answer calls, has his so-called secretary Donna who is in fact his wifey make up alibies. He took my money – messed up the work – wanted to even get more money from me by advising he could do my roof. Are you a licensed roofer?
Or a ***-artist. His license should be revoked and his illegal workers should stop working for this tyrant.
I will not rest until I get back what he owes me…… I will take him legally and Tony hey Tony you are welcome to read all the bad reviews - everything from Yelp – Better Business Bureau – Home Advisor – Ocean County newspaper – I might even call Channel l2 NEWS! Watch out I’m coming after you!

- - Contracted in June with United Corp. of NJ LLC for a front porch; permit never came.
- - Promised July/Aug start; no work begun; sent a form letter.
Had contract with United Corp. of NJ LLC since June to install a front porch (cement, pavers, front walk - the works) and they never even got the permit.
When we (my husband and I) actually got the permit going - Tony (the owner) sent a letter that due to "circumstances beyond our control we are unable to fulfill your contract for this season." Waited all summer for him to begin (said it would be able to start the end of July/beginning of August) we still do not have a front porch.
I would not suggest this company to anyone. Very unprofessional to tell us 2 weeks ago that they would be able to do the work by the end of October and then instead of being a good company and calling and discussing, he sends a form letter.
After reviewing this post we have found out that this was another paver company's review,there is a company in Hicksville ny with the same name.

I called United Corp to have a patio and driveway installed. The owner came out to the estimate and fully explained the process and all my options.
I already got bids from 3 other contractors and United Corp beat them all, so I gave them the job. The job was completed in a week, I was really happy with everything. The crew was really helpful and listened to all my suggestions. The took what I had imagined and made it much times better!
I work so much and now I have a place to escape, right in my back yard.

The owner did not keep his word. I am very unhappy after job that cost me more than 30,000 dollars. It was a big project and I regret giving it to united corp of new jersey. Our driveway was paved but according to the agreement cleanup involving grading of the left over soil ans well as removal of big pavers and leveling the ground is not finished.
It looks very ugly. there licence should be reevaluated.
